Bois Marocain old against new.
I have now times the need to write my first review. Tom Ford Bois Marocain. I have the first version from 2009 and the new one. One of my concerns is to disprove that this fragrance used to be so much better than current.
It is simply so that everyone grows with his fragrance journey. One smells a fragrance 13 years ago and is completely from the socks. Then the fragrance is set and you put him on a mental staircase. Many years later he is released again and you think at the first sniff ... oh man but it is not like before ... Much worse ...
In reality, one has grown in all the fragrance experiences and simply takes many scents differently was.
In the example of Bois Marocain you can see that very well. They smell almost Identical. The old 2009 batch is a trace spicier to start. But that was it. One has with the 2009 er Batch the same olfactory experience as 2023. However, an experience I appreciate very much.
Balsamic woody something spicy rather calm and meditative. I love him. No matter which version.
