The Disappointment Chronicles: 3 - Return of the Dryer Sheet
St Kitts for Men debuts with the now-familiar awful dryer sheet smell, but after an hour or so moderates into a less intense dryer sheet smell with some vaguely sweaty musk beneath it. I'm not a fan, but it doesn't project enough to really bother me. The meh mood has overcome me once again.

Having sampled the third fragrance from this line, it's at this point that I am wondering why the designer had such a love of dryer sheets. If I wanted that, I'd go buy Clean Cotton or something. St Kitts, the name, doesn't inspire any kind of dryer sheet fanfic in me, but I've never visited. Maybe it would? The Caribbean of my imagination and expectation doesn't smell like cheap dryer sheets and sweat -- I hope St Kitts and Tommy Bahama as a whole aren't actually realistic in that regard.

By three hours in, the dryer sheet smell is still there but a new note has arisen -- wet sand. Unfortunately, it is rather faint. By seven hours in, it is a synthetic-smelling flower, a disappointing end to a disappointing journey. Recommended for: someone you don't like much.

(P.S. I am aware but not hopeful that I may have obtained a bad batch of minis. Nevertheless, this was my experience. I wish it was otherwise.)

Opens as a typical citrus bomb, but turns into a fun and sensual aquatic when the opening fades.

It's a solid affordable summer option.

A very good out of the shower smell for me. Gives me a nice, relaxing, vacation ambiance to retire in without suffocating me in the evening.
