The everyday Lamborghini
I'm testing a Tonino Lamborghini fragrance today. A brand created by Tonino, a member or heir of the Lamborghini family, to offer other luxury and lifestyle items beyond the family's well-known sports cars. There are watches, leather goods, glasses, but also telephones, garden tools and even scents, although the latter are surprisingly rather cheap to have, but somehow this applies to most scents of well-known car manufacturers (Mercedes, Ferrari, etc.).

Hmm... so far I had always been reluctant to try such "car scents", just like my cat is reluctant to splash on water and wet cloths (to occasionally clean his paws after rolling in the dirt or after "enjoying" a mouse!)... but of course rain doesn't seem to matter to him, understand these critters...!
Because somehow I have always assumed that these fragrances are rather less great,... but you never know, or?

Soo, as I said, I'm testing this fragrance here, which by the way is no longer produced and I still had a sample of it (... which of course was also a reason why I tried it :D).
And by the way, there is now also from the actual car manufacturer of the label its own fragrance series with the actual Lamborghini logo, which just by the way.

The fragrance:
The fragrance begins fresh and slightly citrus with bergamot and especially with herbaceous oakmoss. It is accompanied by intense lavender, which goes well with oak moss, and some aquatic notes. The top note basically smells like a classic after-shave in the style of Fougere and Chypre fragrances.
Then there are further herbaceous notes such as sage (and very little coriander) and above all woods (of which you can smell the cypresses better than the cedar). Besides, you can smell a little pepper.
A little later the fragrance remains classical as usual and as described, only that now also some musk is added, which gives the fragrance a rather low sweetness at first. And somehow the fragrance becomes a little softer towards the base, almost more powdery. It remains as described, where you can still smell the oak moss very well, but the smell becomes a little sweeter, because the musk becomes stronger later. You can also smell strong earthy notes of patchouli.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is mediocre. You will smell the scent on you when someone passes you with it, but the scent is not very strong, so it will not just wrap the environment in a scent cloud.
But the shelf life is quite okay, since it stayed with me for seven to eight hours, although it was rather weak in the latter hours.

The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and colourless. The upper part of the bottle is chrome-plated and has countersunk rivets (or at least that's how it looks). The lid is also chrome-plated and cylindrical and also has these "rivets" on it. On the front you can see the logo of Tonino Lamborghini, which resembles a little the logo of the actual car manufacturer. All in all nothing unusual, but still nice.

Soo... okay, the scent here is okay for now. However, it smells like hundreds of these classic men's fragrances with oak moss, lavender, aquatic notes that are fresh and after shave. For me, it doesn't smell bad or particularly good, but it's a fragrance that men in particular can't do anything wrong with, but that wouldn't make them stand out from other fragrances either, because you somehow perceive a fragrance like that at every corner of any man's home.

It is an all-rounder, even if it belongs a little more into spring and summer due to its fresher direction. It can be used above all as a typical everyday scent, because I personally find it too unspectacular to go out.

But I would still recommend a test, because some people like these scents, unless you already have a similar scented scent in your closet, well... at least if you should be about 30 and older (... like me *sigh* :D), because such a scent wouldn't stand or please younger people very much
