Up to the Himmelberg
The vacation was too short. As usual. This time it was only the one week, which is short of course, but that the days go by so quickly? The last day. I want to enjoy it to the fullest once again. The sun is shining, but it is still cool and fresh in the morning. It is 7 o'clock. I decide on a new running track. I run down to the village and then I turn left towards Himmelberg. At first I have to orientate myself, but soon I find a dirt road which I follow. From the start it goes uphill. I'm well trained, but I want to be well divided, because I can only guess what is still to come when I run an unknown route.
I walk across green, freshly cut meadows. You can smell the rain of the previous days. The ground is still a little bit damp in parts. I inhale the earthy smell and pay attention to my steps. It goes further uphill. I see a wonderful heath landscape. The sun tickles my nose, which is happy about the herbaceous scent of bushes. Along the edge of this popular hiking trail, which I take a somewhat faster pace, benches invite me to linger. But I want to go further.
I turn left and there is a steep climb waiting there. On the left hand side the forest begins. A mixed forest with the scents of green leaves and fir needles. I reduce my speed to be able to manage the ascent at a trot, which I manage. I am on top. I have to blow through. How beautiful! This feeling is indescribable. The exertion eases off and I continue to enjoy the wonderful scents of nature and the sunrays that slowly begin to warm me up.
That's exactly what Trudon II reminds me of. Pure nature with freshly mowed grass, bushes, forest and a bit of moist soil. In the end a fine clean note is added. Like the shower after the morning run in the untouched nature. At first I was sceptical about the synthetic notes, but here nothing is too much for me and nothing seems artificial or smelly. Yes, I'm very good with ambroxan like that. Trudon II starts where Creed's original vetiver ends. For me one of the most beautiful, authentic scents of woods, meadows and nature with a slight tendency towards masculinity. Not only for runners.
Many thanks to AdAstra72 for the sample.
