White blossoms
Undergreen have a very particular vision of their brand. They are quite ambitious and promise to surprise and innovate while using all-natural ingredients ("Natural designer-perfumes"). "White" is not as abstract a composition as I had thought. It opens with a head-rush of aldehydes, horse mint and coconut. Then it mellows: ylang-ylang, orange blossom, jasmine and iris butter give it a powdery and pretty appeal. Why the name? I guess it's due to those white flowers (orange blossom, jasmine) which dominate. The lasting impression is one of pure, white powdery cleanness with a touch of coconut for added exoticism. This fragrance is worth trying if you want a simple daytime-scent with a pared-down structure. I wouldn't call it innovative, though.
