Beautiful
Elegant rosy perfume with jasmine and a hint of clean but warm musk. I would say this is 60% rose and 40% jasmine. This is very rounded, smooth and almost creamy, not sharp at all like many rose perfumes can be (like Paul Smith Rose, Mancera Roses Vanille or Montale Roses Musk). It's also creamier and softer than Chloé thanks to the jasmine. Also no pepper at all in this, which is great as I can't stand pepper. This isn't a mature rose, to me this is a very youthful perfume that balances casualness with elegance. I also have to note that this perfume does not have that cheap chemical/ambroxan/iso E scent so many designer perfumes do, it barely smells like alcohol once you spray it on, and the longevity is pretty good for a natural perfume that doesn't use phthalates or other hormone disruptors to make it last. Not sure what the difference is between the Sensualité from the Classiques and Essentielles collections, but I asked the customer service and they told me that the only difference is the bottle and the stones inside. However, the notes differ in the description, with the more expensive Essentielles version only mentioning the rose and blond woods, the ingredients are also different so I'm not sure. This review is for the Classiques version with the clear bottle and pearls inside.
And bonus, this brand is cruelty-free!!!
Update: this ended up being my wedding perfume! What an amazing choice!!!
