Trip to Italy
I have travelled through Italy from north to south - along with islands.
Even my Italian friend Giovanni is impressed by the remote corners of his country I've been curving around.
But I left out Venice - although it interests me of course.
But I watch Donna Leon Krimis with enthusiasm, and Venezia by Biagiotti was my signature scent in the 90s - for which I received plenty of compliments.
So I am also happy about the Venezia Pröbchen, from which I spray carefully, because Oud is not always my case.
But this oud is soft and comes on soft soles after politely letting the smoky cedar and citric notes come first.
But then it gradually moves to the foreground - without drowning out the velvety rose and the powdery iris.
Saffron adds a noble touch and the patch adds depth.
I imagine the city of Venice to be so multifaceted.
Oud Royale also features mysterious elements - Venice in carnival with rustling robes and artistic masks.
In addition, the moon is reflected in the channels and you can hear the small waves sloshing against the walls.
A gondolier sings a sad love song - because Oud Royale contains a quantum of melancholy.
I would like to sit in his gondola and swing gently through the water lanes.
Oud royale is a valuable, noble fragrance, atmospheric in addition, because he does not shy away from sentiment.
He will definitely appeal to romantics.
