Uh... I suki you?
Hello you smelly pack :))
Here I am again, working through my checklist for my latest commentary, as usual:

- Is it a fragrance I haven't featured yet? → CHECK!
- Has it been two to three days since the last comment? → CHECK!
- Trying not to make fun of or get upset with perfumas this time? → I'll put that off until next time!

Well, that's kind of how it goes here with me. Now you've had a little glimpse at how I post comments... maybe I should do a video sometime and show how I test fragrances...? Hmm... better not, or should I? Let's see, let's see... :D

Anyway, here comes a fragrance from Weil, and it's Suki Essence. It sounds quite Japanese, well, because it's also from Japanese. Suki is a female first name, which means "I like" or "I love", but can also sometimes mean "The beloved". With that being said, my title should also simply mean "I like you" and not anything perverted, you furies you who only think bad of me! Ah second, my checklist!! I wasn't trying to make fun of you ladies or get upset...! No wait, I had postponed that promise to the next comment after all, like I always do from comment to comment, mu ha ha :D

You're lucky that I just nothing else comes to mind, so now comes the fragrance description!

The fragrance:
The scent starts off with sweetish scents and it smells like a date/plum mix, resins like incense as well as a bit of sugar. Quickly come some cinnamon, but especially beautiful amber.
Later, the fragrance remains as described and smells accordingly very nice.
In the base, the date scent is gone, now smell for it the resins a little more intense, especially frankincense is very clear to smell and also smells very nice, especially with the bright, sweetish amber. In the background, the fragrance seems to be a little spicy, however, I can not determine what else you smell there.
And... that's really it, since the fragrance hardly really changes over time.
The fragrance may thus seem a tiny bit simple, but smells for it just very, very nice.

The sillage and the durability:
The sillage is quite okay. It is of course logically strongest at first and gradually fades away, but stays smellable for a short while. The durability was also not bad, the fragrance held out namely 7-8 hours.

The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and yellow and on its front sticks a silver label with the fragrance name. The lid is cylindrical and also silver, with a yellow stripe in the middle as a color accent. Looks nice.

Conclusion:
Wow, so this fragrance is very nicely fancy. At first glance, it may smell a bit simple, since it basically just smells soft-powdery and nice sweet resinous, but for that it just smells very pleasant and nice. Sure, such fragrances there are now so many on the market, but this one is just one of the quite pleasant among these fragrances. Especially amber and incense fans could risk a sniff here.

Suki is in my opinion, moreover, an autumnal / winter fragrance that is worthwhile both during the day and for going out, because it always smells good and should therefore also come across very nice on any occasion. Moreover, this fragrance also makes you look delicious for sure as it just has a great aura to it. You just want to bite, if only there weren't already the claws of you waiting, who just want to rip out hearts and... er... soft parts, argh! That's mean! Or maybe I just had a bad experience, hmm... no, you guys are just mean and nasty! Yes yes! :D And I recommend you to try this fragrance too, so you can hide your beastliness and even seem nice and lovely by it... pah! :D
(hey hey, I told you I wouldn't be soo nice in this comment :D)

Alright,... that's about it again. I'll see you guys (willy-nilly...) next time, so until then, have a nice evening :)

Beautiful, powerful, serious
I was very happy that I got the opportunity to test this fragrance, because through the previous descriptions I was very curious about it. Actually, I only wanted to write a statement, but I did not succeed in expressing my impression in so few words. I would therefore ask for your indulgence for the key point nature of my description.
Suki has absolutely something, but at the beginning she's too powerful-sweet for me. Candied fruit, but with an unusual touch, not the usual fruit sweetness and softened with a bit of bitter bergamot. After about an hour then pure, clear incense, very beautiful and very serious. In the end I only smell the vanilla, it is noble, but the other notes are unfortunately hidden. My impression is that Suki is clearly divided into three parts. The three phases appear one after the other and do not merge into each other, but are detached. I recognize a very unique fragrance, which deserves all admiration, but which is too powerful for me personally. By this I don't mean the Sillage (which is good, but not too room-filling) but the overall impression of the fragrance. Many thanks to net Parfuma, who made it possible for me to get to know this special fragrance!

Cotton wool soft incense cloud
This fragrance is not just a fashionable skirmish to stick to the fragrance market, it's a big hit. A fragrance like from the best "times".
Here a fragrance house once again shows what it is capable of. Glowing reverence on my part for a fragrance I didn't even know last week, or knew that it existed.
And "glowing" is this "Suki Essence", the name sounds somehow "Japanese" but has as little to do with the Asian country as elephants with the North Pole.
"The wood fire is "glowing" and gives off an almost cotton-soft incense note, which enters into a competitive liasion with the roses. A hint of cinnamon makes the whole thing even more attractive.
The fruits of the "top note" don't remain silent during the whole fragrance process, but stay fine in the background as a "decorative accessory" without something "missing".
The soft amber and the somewhat "racke" oud in the base provide an extremely deep and interesting duel, as do the vanilla and the vetyver.
it's almost like a "mixed double", sometimes the vetyver plays with the oud, and no "winner" comes out. Then again the vanilla grabs the oud at the "Krawattl", without both being really "ready to fight". It is more of a "show duel" than if slaps in the face were faked by clapping hands close to the cheek of the opponent.
then Amber and vanilla "sing" again in the most beautiful duet, whereby the incense always remains the main actor.
Zistrose occasionally pulls out her black powder box and sprinkles a pinch among those present.
Being here as a "spectator" or "lurker" is like following a very exciting movie or television film. Whereby I sit comfortably on the mentioned cotton-soft cloud of incense and do everything from a slightly elevated position in succession and amicably.

Frankincense always goes
So completely without introduction it goes into the topic.
I ordered Suki Essence (EdP) because I was looking for a worthy successor to Donna Karan Black Cashmere who, in my eyes, is the perfect (cool) incense/church scent. I am not a churchgoer, but I am not averse to the sacred. So he always reminded me of Christmas and had something holy and immortal about him.
Now to Suki. The top note clearly goes in the Black Cashmere direction, you can smell the incense well. However, he then goes other ways, becomes rosier/flowerier and altogether softer/warmer with dates and cinnamon. The incense note, which is the "basic statement" of the Black Cashmere fragrance and which lasts until the end, ebbs off a bit in Suki, or rather blends into the other notes. The church is not quite so holy here and dates with cinnamon are served.
Suki is a wonderful incense scent, which develops fruity/sweet/spicy and also rosy.
But of course you should also like incense.
I don't smell anything from the oud, the information on the packaging (no oud indicated) differs from the information on the homepage. Animalic Oud is not found in any case.
Suki is probably, still, an insider tip. Price-performance is also more than okay.

Like a cozy scarf
I'm in the car on the way to the hairdresser. It's raining and storming outside today. A day at the end of March. Actually, I've really had enough of this miserable weather - I'm ready for spring... The hyacinths have been in my kitchen for weeks, blooming and smelling, one after the other... My scented wardrobe has consisted of fresh floral fragrances for weeks. But today is a day for a cuddly, creamy, spicy fragrance that wraps me up like a cozy scarf. It shields me from the rain and the disgusting gray.
I stand in front of my perfume cabinet and immediately know which fragrance I'm going to wear today... That's not always the case - often enough I spend a long time thinking about which fragrance suits the day, my mood, my clothes, etc...
This fragrance is just perfect for today...
It starts citrusy-cinnamony and turns into a creamy-spicy plum-cinnamon scent on a beautiful incense base.
Very, very beautiful! My companion today..
