Xerjoff's Alexandria II Benchmark...
Hello to the round,
today I would like to talk about a fragrance / an altar that really outshines its fellow fragrance - (the "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (Perfume) | XerJoff" - and it is about the Alexandria II Pure Attar .
Very many years the "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (Parfum) | XerJoff" was my September to March signature and this from 2017 to 2022 and I recently tested the Alexandria II Pure Attar and can say...
- YES it is very similar to the older batches
- its durability is abartig (24h+)
- is very economical and thus also cheaper as the "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (perfume) | XerJoff"
- appears more noble and high-quality
- is less sweet in the drydown like the current "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (perfume) | XerJoff"
One of the first things I noticed is this aura, this magical veil, this protective and warming hand (great feeling). Exactly this feeling I have with the "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (perfume) | XerJoff" also and except for the Oud Stars - Alexandria Imperiale I know all (including the Oud Stars - Alexandria ).
I must honestly confess that this test has convinced me so much that I will buy the Alexandria II Pure Attar again.
Why did I give the "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (Perfume) | XerJoff"?
He was 100% not bad in performance. It came the year 21/ 22 the time where he no longer pleased me. He was me (in the course) in the drydown too sweet the vanilla twist was too strong (soon Gourmandig) and he no longer had these edges and corners I loved at the time so. He became over the years more and more tolerable and suitable for the masses. Therefore, I went a weile ago (2022) on the "Oud Stars - Alexandria Orientale | XerJoff" and the had these edges, but somehow he had less this magical and sublime as it has bspw. "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (perfume) | XerJoff", therefore I sold also those.
If I really would not be convinced, I would put you the not heart!
