Why did you have to leave?
Already in my childhood I was allowed to enjoy Yves Rocher fragrances, there were regularly co-ordered minis or even complete bottles from Aztek, Tel Quel, Antartic or Trimaran in the bathroom, in my youth fragrances like Samarkande, Nature Millesime and finally Eryo were added
The last fragrance worth mentioning is Hoggar (2005).
That's where the success story of YR stops with me, because everything that came after that can be safely forgotten
I can still remember the scenario when he appeared. I was still living with my mother at the time and Yves Rocher brochures were always fluttering in by mail. When Eryo was advertised, I thought, "Sounds interesting." So an Edt+deodorant was bought in the set and I was not disappointed.
Eryo starts with a fresh bergamot-mint note, followed by something herbaceous and finally the base, here the vanilla takes over the sweet main part and the patchouli counteracts the sweet one
All in all, Eryo is (nowadays) one of the most perfect fragrances I know. You can wear it in any situation, it gives a masculine freshness and you will never bother anyone with this fragrance. In addition to that it stays with 2-3 strong sprayers for some time, and despite all the price differences to designer scents, it still looks quite natural.
When it comes to fragrances, I sometimes wish I could have never done anything with them. So many losses I have had to cope with, in addition to the many disappointments nowadays and always this looking for a bottle without falling into poverty... I think many of us know this :-)
The shelf life is about 8-10h and the sillage is very strong in the beginning, even if it decreases noticeably after half an hour, but eryo is still one of those fragrances that does not change extremely in its scent impression, but the head and heart note slowly diminish and the scent merges fluently into the base, i often don't have this feeling anymore with newer fragrances, so it often seems to me as if the top note is "tuned" to cover the window cleaning water in the background and thus boost sales (Sauvage, BdC, Eros etc.).)
I was recently able to get hold of a half-full 100ml vintage bottle and was literally flashed by its quality It's a mystery to me why something like this is no longer possible today... Too expensive?
