The only floral I like
Mon Evidence has a light and brisk floral bouquet opening. I had to smell it a couple of times before I could distinguish it's fresh note as citrus. Unlike niche fragrances, generic fragrances are always difficult for me to separate into their respective notes; to me they are always fused mixtures that do not have strong charismatic note that stands out.

I have never been an admirer of floral fragrances, which is why I initially thought nothing of this fragrance and why many popular fragrances are lost on me. I gave it a go, but wasn't enamoured, so I left it on a shelf thinking I could gift it to whoever visits me and who would love to take it home.
I am glad that that never happened.

Mon Evidence is supposed to be a rose and patchouli fragrance, both very dominant floral notes, but in actuality it is a very fresh, light, spring floral; like going through the park in early spring when the flowers are beginning to bloom and the weather is quite cold with the morning dew still lingering on the foliage.

Bergamot is the opening act of Mon Evidence, then a bouquet of jasmine, orange blossom and rose is revealed, behind this very feminine floral fragrance profile is deepening vanilla giving the fragrance it's sweetness in perfect balance.
Sometimes you have to revisit a fragrance to experience its full potential, that was certainly the case with Mon Evidence, the only floral fragrance I see myself wearing and repurchasing every spring.

Between Miss and Mademoiselle
The fact is, she's not an adult! :-)

In my opinion, the fragrances of Yves Rocher are totally underrated. They're not really expensive, the bottles are pretty, but no green handbags with gold chains, no star-shaped purple structures, and the Frenchman has a really large selection of different perfumes, so you can quickly lose track. So far, so good.

I took Mon Evidence with me on a "buy one fragrance and get a second one as a gift" campaign because I was so attracted to this soft pink - that's exactly my colour. I also find the wooden lid really chic, even if it somehow gives the wrong impression that it's a woody scent. The loose handwriting already reveals that the fragrance is rather addressed to younger women - maybe from 20 to 40? (Of course I don't want to step on anybody's toes, everybody can wear the scents he likes!)

In fact, the "obvious" (or how do you translate "evidence"?) sniffs fresh at first, so I can understand why many draw a parallel with Coco Mademoiselle. I once had this fragrance too, but we never got warm because it was too harsh on my skin and smelled almost like a men's perfume on me. But I liked the tangerine in the prelude - and that is also noticeable here. But unlike the Mademoiselle, Mon Evidence is developing in a more floral direction, although I wouldn't declare it to be a typical rose scent. Here again I understand the reference to the Misses - one of my absolute favourite scents, mind you. As radiantly flowery as a summer's day - that's also the YR fragrance in the course of the year, but with a less pronounced rose. But the base differs significantly from both high-end perfumes - Mon Evidence becomes vanilla-sweetish, patchouli I can't really make out at all.

Mon Evidence accompanied me in early summer and I was more than surprised how pleasant it was. Never too much, never too little, easily noticeable but not obtrusive, suitable for the office - really nice! So if Coco Mademoiselle is too fresh for you like me, if you like Miss Dior but are looking for a lighter version - you will love this one!

Beautiful Everyday Fragrance
Mon Evidence by Yves Rocher I have been in the collection for about a year. It took me a while to get really warm with that scent. But I didn't think he was bad either.

Meanwhile I know that I like it better at cooler temperatures than in summer. When the temperature is too warm it looks sweeter and somehow more arbitrary, while in the cold season it radiates more elegance. But that's for everyone to decide for themselves. For me it is an autumn/winter fragrance.

After spraying on, the light, fresh mandarin appears immediately.
Then follows a delicate rose. In my imagination it could be a rose with pale pink flowers.
A hint of vanilla joins the rose/tangerine combination without pushing itself into the foreground.
Patchouli is also only very discreetly available.
So all in all, it's a nice smell. No milestone, but well wearable in everyday life if you don't want to attract attention with its fragrance.

The shelf life and the sillage are in the middle range and the bottle was also kept very simple, but this fits the fragrance.

If I'll buy it again, I don't know yet, I'll let that get to me.

Faithful roses
Autumn knocks, but shows its kind side, and gives us even more southern days.

I like the mild warmth of the sun and the soft light.

My roses also feel good and they bloom over and over in all colors, accompanied by their sweet noble fragrance.

Mon Evidence is a perfect match for this.
The rose scent is captured authentically in the bottle along with the light.
Noble and lovely at the same time.
The aquatic mandarin lets the airy fragrance flow, and provides transparency.
Gently lays the vanilla over it , supported by light Patchoulie.

Casual elegance pairs with romance - and invites you to dream.

My roses nod to me in the mild autumn wind , and still faithfully hold a piece of summer.
