I was ridiculously excited when I saw it;

So I bought it IMMEDIATELY. I absolutely LOVE the EDP version, so it was a “no brainer” for me. I grabbed it online, and picked it up, curbside.

Now the scent itself? Scent wise, I think it’s great. The apple-esque opening of the EDP on steroids. Very sweet, and full of dark depth. I feel a similarity to the Eros EDP in the mid notes... just erase the minty notes that Eros has, and that’s what’s there. Projection though, is VERY close to skin. This is very disappointing, considering we’re living in a time where wearing masks is mandatory. No one is going to pick this up wearing a mask. Sillage is affected by this as well. This doesn’t say that this doesn’t have longevity, as it lasts on the skin; the problem is, is that it’s ONLY on the skin living... and for $150, you’d expect more.

So yes, I think the scent is great, but would I recommend it to anyone? No, I would say grab a bigger bottle of the EDP... Hell, I think I AM going to, before it’s reformulated.

My summer signature

I was looking for an everyday fragrance last summer, in my experience fresh summer fragrances from designers perform better than niche fragrances. Sure the niche fragrances can be better but for the price and the level of better performance you can stick with designers.

Now to the fragrance: If you look for summer fragrances on the Internet, you will come across YSL- Y edp in no more than 5 clicks. I liked the EDP but it didn't come across as very grown-up and a bit playful, too mass-market and hardly statement-making, which isn't a bad thing if the fragrance is good, but I like to make a statement with my perfume choice. In every store, Le Parfum is right next to the other versions and I was thrilled from the start.
A fresh, pleasant and very warm fragrance. At the beginning, you notice a strong citrus note that develops into a pleasantly warm blend with woody facets in the dry-down. A very casual and relaxed fragrance, best for a long summer evening.
The sillage is initially very perceptible and strong, but weakens after 1-2 hours.
During the summer I received many compliments with this fragrance, I had a wonderful experience with the perfume during this time.

If you want a more elegant, grown-up choice for your summer fragrance, YSL-Y Le Parfum is a very good choice. It absolutely convinced me - a pleasant and beautiful sunset in the mountains of the Mediterranean world captured in a bottle.

The perfume is a good fresh summer fragrance for me. I tested it once in a perfumery and it surprised me positively! But it is a synthetic fragrance.

At first, after spraying it on, you'd be blown away by the apple. After a short time, the apple disappears and the interesting note of lavender comes through. This also lasts quite a long time. I only notice the base notes to a limited extent. Longevity and sillage are average, after 4-5 hours I no longer notice the perfume.

Conclusion: An interesting summer perfume that is not like any other. For the price, I can recommend it less.

Synthetic headache scent without sophistication

First of all, it's not REALLY bad. But just also very far from good. Therefore 5/10. I like him, however, üüüüüberhaupt not.

He is certainly a matter of taste. The synthetic apple kicks you with the force of a truck with wonder tree in the face. After a while, the though subsides and makes way for other, also synthetic flavors.

I also perceive something woody, which the fragrance pyramid, however, does not give. Perhaps this is the sage? No idea, I do not care, because after a few minutes I already had a headache. No, not a "I'm saying this to embellish my rating" headache, but real. Also, my skin started to tingle and burn slightly at the spray-on point (really just a very slight irritation). Maybe I'm really allergic to the scent?

Fortunately, H / S are not so outstanding, as that one would have to suffer great drunter.

The bottle is ok - the price / performance ratio is so naja.

From me definitely no recommendation. Even if you like the fragrance, should be better for the price H / S.

All this aside : if you like just such a fragrance, then no alternative to "synthetic apple" would come to mind.

Best YSL Y flanker!!

You get a deeper, smoother, and more refined and gentlemanly scent than the Y EDP.

You get that fresh sweet apple vibe that comes across as fresher, more mature and an elegant take on the Y DNA.

Then dries down to dries down to a warm and sweet vibe that doesn't project as loud as the EDP but still get a nice scent bubble around you. Lovely fragrance.
