Really, Yves?
I must say, gentlemen; you can do better than that...!

Well, in our modern times, it's often probably no longer without synthetics; but does that have to take the hand of all fragrances so over?
A so renowned house should not have that necessary; the disappointments are there but pre-programmed ...

To the fragrance:
as indicated citrus synthetic and more there's already no more to say about it, unfortunately!
Except perhaps that the synthetic is not sooo strong that one becomes sick or the fragrance just seems cheap. They have at least managed; the gentlemen from the house YSL.

A pleasant sweetness resonates with all' the artificiality; it benefits that the whole "composition" occurs with a certain lightness and with careful dosage a little later gives the impression as if a few fine, smoked woods were the base for a few lost roses. If there were a word for the breath of a breath, then that would come about with sufficient olfactory imagination...

There are some other ingredients indicated, which I can all at most guess; but what is not important, because the overall impression is that of a fresh, but not sporty, but rather elegant, soft lemon fragrance, which could also be on the shelf of a supermarket (drugstore would already be too much to say, since drugstores now carry quite a decent selection of familiar names).
Hmm.

Did I just give there, almost taken, an ultimately almost positive description?
Da schau' her; has me the artificial rogue yet a little "caught"!
Now I have to smile and reach out to the fragrance conciliatory hand. Fairness demands it.
Because after half an hour has passed, remains for the next few hours actually a quite acceptable fragrance experience, as I have just described: mild-sweet-citrusy, elegant, with absolutely tolerable synthetics and not at all intrusive.

Nevertheless: for a fragrance from the house of YSL felt unfortunately a mediocrity!

I was ridiculously excited when I saw it;
So I bought it IMMEDIATELY. I absolutely LOVE the EDP version, so it was a “no brainer” for me. I grabbed it online, and picked it up, curbside.

Now the scent itself? Scent wise, I think it’s great. The apple-esque opening of the EDP on steroids. Very sweet, and full of dark depth. I feel a similarity to the Eros EDP in the mid notes... just erase the minty notes that Eros has, and that’s what’s there. Projection though, is VERY close to skin. This is very disappointing, considering we’re living in a time where wearing masks is mandatory. No one is going to pick this up wearing a mask. Sillage is affected by this as well. This doesn’t say that this doesn’t have longevity, as it lasts on the skin; the problem is, is that it’s ONLY on the skin living... and for $150, you’d expect more.

So yes, I think the scent is great, but would I recommend it to anyone? No, I would say grab a bigger bottle of the EDP... Hell, I think I AM going to, before it’s reformulated.

Smells like a bubblegum stuck to the sole of a sneaker. Sweet, fruity, fresh, extremely synthetic, like so many of the genre in recent years

Nice opening. Boring otherwise. No personality. No story behind this.

Toned down the synthetic sweetness of the EDP. By doing that we are left with a - for designer standards - simple earthy, fresh perfume.
