Night pour Homme IV aka Vibrant Leather aka Rich Leather
If you already have any of ZARA Leather collection scents, either Vibrant or Rich, you don't need to buy this one. Not because it is not good, rather it is nothing but the very same scent in EDP concentration. If you are anything like me, however, you don't care whether you already have it, and just because the name, or the bottle, or the box are different, and the price is a ridiculous bargain, you must have it! I'm fully moonstruck, aren't I?
Hence, nowadays I do have 3 bottles of the very same scent in my wardrobe, both EDT and EDP for days and nites! Yeah, I know, I am crazy, I am scent-addicted, why not?
Opens satiny, buttery, tart, delicious, zest like a smooth and vibrant English Lemon Curd, then leather. The citrus zest is astonishing in the opening, and even if not mentioned, I get an unripe pineapple, the tart smell you get when you cut fresh fruit. Definitely a sweet and wonderfully citrus opening, very similar to pineapple.
The leather comes later, in the heart. It is not Tuscan leather, nothing too raw. A green and herbal touch comes from the bamboo and the scent dries with a modern patch, dark but not dirty. On the final note a persistent quality of woody, earthy and softer perfumed bitter scents that hide an essence of elegant, uplifting and luminous sensations.
Surely Night pour Homme IV has better sillage and longevity than Vibrant Leather. The scent seems really the same. I don't detect any difference in scent, but this one smells more expensive and natural, it's creamier and more pleasant overall. The dry down is superb and is what I like the most.
