For the price a great scent

I just read that the fragrance probably only costs 12 €, I am already surprised. Thought it would cost about 30-40. If you are looking for a flowery, fruity summer scent, you can make a blind purchase here. The start is citric-fresh and dry, almost too violent. I did not like the beginning altogether so well, there is a guard hike to a shower fragrance. I thought I smelled grapefruit and later chamomile. I could also perceive an aquatic note in the fragrance, which is beautiful. At the end something vanilla comes out, the scent reminds me at times of a summer meadow. After the first test I applied it again because the perfume does not last that long (about 4-5 hours). Because of the light shower fragrance, there is finally a half point deduction

ZARA Summer Collection 2017 edition is a real summer style of scent so that it would be perfect at this time of the year. It is a green, fresh, minty and citrusy interpretation of violet leaves with a nice touch of sandalwood and musk and with a whisper of spices. A masterpiece!

It opens up with a beautiful initial tart grapefruit blast blended with spearmint, a very soft mint. If you are a mint lover, you will love this opening. More, if that beauty were not enough, a bit of violet leaves gives the right green balance to the whole top notes, so refreshing and so summery.

The mint at the start is quite pleasant, but it is a sweet juicy pineapple note, not too synthetic, that dominates the course of development of this creation. Roasted pineapple topped with cinnamon powder and some rosy water poured over it, let me dream for a while. It lingers for a while before giving way to a somewhat woody note with labdanum mixed in.

Rose is a whisper, neither dominant nor imperative, yet just a pleasant touch of floral, and together with violet leaf, and labdanum help to soften the intensity with their sophisticated floral bouquet. They lead to a well-balanced accord of sensual musk and creamy sandalwood, which incredibly last for several hours on my skin.

It is a fresh, green and slightly fruity style of scent, with just a hint of woody notes. It's a perfect scent for the summer months, and it's very light but still packs enough punch to get you noticed. It's a pleasant style of smell that will not offend so that it can be worn in both a formal and casual occasion. The combination of the violet leaves and pineapple gives a minty smell at first, then more of a fruity aroma on the dry down, with the hints of musk and sandalwood. It has some connections to Boss Bottled Unlimited by Hugo Boss and also shares a similar vibe with both Eclat d'Arpege by Lanvin and Burberry for Men. Above-average longevity, moderate sillage, best for summer days.

Zaras summer mint fruit punch

I took Zara Summer Collection with me a few weeks ago (together with the already commented Teahupoo). The last hot days were now perfect for an extensive test.

The fragrance focuses on a fruit punch from a very fresh, tart grapefruit with an exotic touch. A beautiful mint note provides the cooling kick and the violet leaf contributes an ethereal green herbaceousness. The remaining ingredients listed cannot be perceived individually. Only from the base comes clearly a soft musk through.

So much for the analytical part. In practice, this results in a pleasantly fresh fruity fragrance. Slightly mined and, according to the name, perfect for summer. Beautiful acidity, hardly any sweetness and without particularly disturbing synthetic undertones. Also the durability is fine. With a lot of heat the scent projects well, but the endurance could be a bit better.

As so often with the Zaras, the price/performance ratio is also right here. If you are still looking for a solid no-brainer for a fair course in summer, you should take a closer look at the Zara Summer Collection.
