Almah Parfums 1948 / Ivvavik
What is the smell of this creation from Spain that takes us to the Yukon in Canada and to the local Ivvavik National Park?
For me, first of all, like cedar twigs soaked in bourbon / whiskey and really unique in the reception. There are plenty of them everywhere. The beginning is very clear - conifers, conifers ... their entire forest and liquid, alcohol-fermented maize mixed with grain surrounded by oak wood. To add even more sharpness, you can feel the nutmeg in the background.
The smell of this strong-sounding trio (conifers / bourbon / knob) is broken with flowers - somewhere there is a violet looming, somewhere I smell tuberose. From the Almah fragrances I have known, I personally think that it is the best creation, but with a small 'but'. The 'but' is durability. Despite this - I highly recommend it.
