Agreeable, fresh, not among the house's best but decent!
Starting off February by sampling Authenticity Perfumes Romeo Blue, a 2020 release that was reformulated recently, an easygoing blend that does end up smelling bluish despite some spicy aspects, but it’s overall a fresh, citric, floral mix with some spicy, woody, and musky hints. There’s a vaguely blue barbershop quality to it, and it does feel fitting of its name, perhaps something a young man might wear, though it’s pretty agreeable and pleasant.
As with the house’s entire catalogue, Romeo Blue is an affordable $40 for 60ml, in parfum concentration, and I received my sample as part of a very reasonable sample pack that I’d recommend checking out.
