Passable synthetic citrus musk, not the best of the line
My third sampling from Authenticity Perfumes is Summer Vibez, similar to the other offerings I’ve tried (Authenticity and L’Homme Riche) in a blended citrus/fruity top, slightly herbal dry down (in this case, with lavender and hemp), and blended base of sandalwood, vetiver, amber, and musk. My experience of it is mostly citrus to lavender/hemp to woods and musk, very synthetic-smelling. Certainly it fits into the category of a fresher fragrance more geared toward warm weather wearing, like the other entries in the line I’ve tried so far.
Unfortunately, this is the least interesting of the three. L’Homme Riche has a fairly compelling opening and dry down, Authenticity’s opening is very interesting but its dry down is more generic, but with Summer Vibez, both the opening and the dry down leave a little something to be desired.
Overall, it’s not a bad fragrance and the price is not bad, but quality-wise, it feels a touch below The Body Shop or Bath and Body Works, not something crafted with much ingenuity or thoroughness. It could always be the batch or my skin chemistry, but I’m not moved to say that I like the fragrance as much. It’s perfectly satisfactory as an option, so I think it merits trying as part of the Authenticity sample pack, but this particular entry simply does not do much for me.
Like most of the other offering sin the line, Summer Vibez has parfum concentration and is priced at $40 for 60ml, not bad, particularly with a discount code, but there are certainly much cheaper fragrances (to the tune of 100-200ml for under $30) that are superior.
