This Would be an Amazing Rose if it Weren't for the Potpourri
This is a fragrance that starts strong and finishes strong but the middle is what messes it up for me. To start, that strong rose blend is so good. Its a dark rich floral, like a bunch of crushed roses in a room on a hot day. Its a touch soapy but really expensive and luxurious soap. It also has a bit of spice and I don't know where it comes from but it elevates the rose blend. The rose starts to ease up and you can pick out a strong geranium note but then it turns into potpourri scent. It smelled exactly like the potpourri my grandma used to put in her bathroom. Its this part that sticks around for at least a half hour, that ruins this fragrance for me. The dry down is very musky, warm, and a little bit sweet. But I can't get over that 30 minutes of potpourri. The scent did last all day, over 6 hours and the projection is pretty strong too.
