A breeze
Triggered by 'maritime notes' and 'Mediterranean Macchia', the clear, simple appearance of the beautiful bottle with the water-blue label and the wave-shaped font, which represents the playful waves of the sea (hach! *o*), the pretty box, which seems to be processed as if by spraying technique with sieve and toothbrush in the most delicate light blue nestled against white, which all together wonderfully symbolizes the maritime flair for me, I clicked ViMD long ago on the watch list.

From time to time I looked around on the website of the company Cosmesi Siciliana and thought disappointed, unattainable!
Nobody on Parfumo has it (or one of the others), blindly I did not want to order it, also not necessarily immediately the whole bottle
(50 ml cost 33 euros, shipping from Italy costs its proud just under 13 euros), trial samples are not offered.
Then I came the other day suddenly on the idea and have the fragrance simply entered in Google, and lo and behold, there is a shop in Brüggen, Marisco Naturkosmetik, with online shop, which among other things also offers the line Cosmesi Siciliana, and even trial samples of the fragrances!
2 ml at 3 euros. The shipping costs are generally stated at € 3.50, since I really wanted to test the fragrance, I accepted that and was surprised when Marisco suddenly transferred me back a part, because it was only a letter.
Such a fairness I find extremely pleasant, so I mention it here.
The items offered in the Cosmesi Siciliana line are minimally more expensive than on the Italian site.

On the homepage it is to be read:
Ventu 'i Mari is a cosmetics line that draws inspiration, power and strength from Sicilian nature. It carries with it the warmth of the sun and the scent of that wind that caresses and invigorates, blowing from the sea to the land in the coastal areas and softening the summer heat: a life-giving breeze that combines the scent of the iodized sea air with that of the coastal Mediterranean flora.
Ventu 'i Mari Donna is a vibrant fragrance full of emotion.
A refreshing breeze that rebalances body and mind.
Simple, like a regenerating walk by the sea.
All products of this fragrance are certified by ECO-Bio and AIAB.
Cosmesi Siciliana is a story of love and enthusiasm: love for Sicily and love for cosmetics.
The magic of Sicily, with its strong contrasts, bright colors and the highest biodiversity in the Mediterranean - captured in a cosmetic line.
This was the mission of various professionals.
Cosmetics for the body and soul, with a heart that beats for nature.

This all reads great and I can feel the air and scent of this land just reading it. I would have liked to find all this in the fragrance itself. Whereby he is not bad, even the headline is not meant negatively. Early in the morning or late in the evening, when the sun is not yet, or no longer, brooding on the pavement, the sky is watercolour and the air is soft and mild, a gentle breeze, that's what I find in the scent. When you have your first cappuccino on the breakfast terrace in the morning, or in the evening, fresh from your shower gel, you spoon up an ice cream in the beach bar... it blows a soft, velvety breeze and plays with the hair on the neck, caresses the skin on the face and arms, then ViMD fits.
Whiteflower (a hint of indole), slightly citrusy, slightly soapy, airy shower gel freshness with a creamy touch, a groomed fragrance.

But the most important thing is missing for me, the Mediterranean macchia. The Macchie (Ital. macchia, French maquis, means as much as thicket or bushes) is an evergreen, hard-leaved bush formation, 1 to 3 meters high shrubs and tree bushes that form a dense undergrowth. Typical species of this plant community include kermes oak, tree heath, western strawberry tree, rockrose, broom, crested lavender, rosemary, myrtle, mastic oleander, thyme, blackthorn, bayberry, and juniper. During the flowering period of many stand-forming plants from March to May, a particularly aromatic fragrance is emitted. Since ground flora is largely absent, the sun bakes stones. If you have ever walked in this landscape, you know the typical tangy, aromatic, sometimes ethereal scent of the plants, mixed with nectar from the flowers and that of the hot, parched ground. I was so hoping, nay, expecting to find all that in combination, otherwise I wouldn't have even bothered, the curiosity was so great, but it remains a very normal floral shower gel scent, a lukewarm breeze.
Who is looking for something like this, something straightforward fresh, regenerating, comes at his expense. For me, it was unfortunately disappointing.
I'm missing that certain something, the edge that makes a mistral out of the balmy breeze.
