One waving with sharp knives in your face, please!
Do you also belong to the people (now concerning the gentlemen, um... wait... do I have male readers here at all? I really shouldn't test so many women's fragrances, hmmm :DD) who like to go to the hairdresser (or barber?) occasionally to have their beard cut or trimmed?
I can well imagine that some people's blood freezes in their veins when they see the classic folding razors, hey hey. Or not, but it's one thing to get shaved with it and another thing to shave yourself with it. If you're unlucky, both end a little bloody, especially if you try it yourself, mu ha ha ha ha. Oh and I'm NOT talking here from experience, so that's clear :D

Anyway, Arome 3 Tradition reminds me of shaving, especially at the hairdresser. So to one of these "Barbarian Shop" fragrances, as they are sometimes called here. Otherwise it is a fresh scent, which unfortunately is only average. So it's not really bad (and some of you might like it a lot), but it's not a must-have for me.

The fragrance:
The fragrance begins classically with citic notes and lavender and is also reminiscent of shaving foam or after-shave. Then some slightly spicy notes are added and the fragrance becomes more woody. And so the fragrance smells for a while.
In the base, the fragrance continues to smell classic with lavender notes, but is now slightly sweeter due to the amber, which becomes even sweeter and warmer in the next few hours.
I also perceive a resinous or light cloud of incense, but I am not so sure... whether it is also incense. At the end the fragrance remains a little bit sweet and tart (because of lavender) with light green-fruity-powdery (possibly with currants), as well as light spicy notes in the background.

The Sillage and Durability:
The scent's charisma is at an above-average to good level and therefore radiates well, but a little later, after about two hours, it is no longer as strong. According to the reviews here, I believe that earlier versions of the fragrance were significantly stronger than what I had under my nose. I thought the shelf life was okay, especially for a fresh fragrance. It lasted about five to six hours.

The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular with the upper part flattened diagonally at the top. The lid is chrome-plated and consists of a small, ring-shaped section in which the brand name is engraved, and the upper, trapezoidal part.
There doesn't seem to be a label, so you can see the name of the fragrance directly on the bottle. Looks pretty nice!

So, the scent, as described at the beginning, somehow reminded me of a shave with its prelude. Either at the hairdresser or also, if you wag your face with sharp blades and so on (and no, I don't think about comics like the Joker from Batman, ... where ... in one of the stories the Joker even cuts his own face off, ... um, yes ... :D).

Due to the Barbarian-Shop-like scent the scent smells very classic for me. Therefore it is for me rather a men's perfume than unisex as indicated here, because it smells very masculine and is therefore less suitable for ladies (and younger guys). A little too weak for going out, but quite okay as a day or leisure fragrance.

All in all, the scent is not bad, but not so special either, so it's not tragic (for me at least) that the scent has been discontinued in the meantime.

Sooo....
...and the weather outlook: It remains boiling hot, and I still write Kommis here, ... I must be crazy ... by the heat ... :D
