The birth of a legend
Grasse - the "world capital of perfumes" and "mother of all noses". No wonder, then, that this fragrant French Mediterranean pearl is also olfactorically often muddled up. But this magic and history can be packed into a single fragrance with difficulty or even impossibility. A real mammoth task. But the new brand "Der Duft" was apparently not afraid of this - and it succeeds in a fascinating feat in liquid form!
First of all, thanks to Parfumo and the owner of the house for the samples of the entire "Der Duft" collection - a super fine line-up, even a superficial sniffing through it will make you start dreaming and raving. But where better to start than with "Grasse", the cradle of fragrances. With fields of lavender and an elegant paleness. With powdery-porcelain iris tones and completely untouched white flowers. "Grasse" captures all this and more. A noble wonder rises up my nose, I can't say otherwise. Sometimes even number 5 and her sisters can't keep up. "Grasse" is a delicate aldehyde plant, yet enormously expressive. A bit more feminine. But quality knows no gender. And this is brutally upscale niche quality. Sparkling champagne paired with a white wedding bouquet and the very natural Grasse feeling - everyone who has ever been there will know it. It's hard to put into words - but the boys and girls at "Der Duft" even poured it into a bottle in liquid form. Chapeau!
Flacon: Minimalism is trumps
Sillage: pleasant and lovely
Durability: Quality work - 9 hours of amazement
Conclusion: one of the best aldehyde (lavender) scents (not only outside of Chanel!) I have ever smelled. Queen class. Captures our wonder called Grasse spectacularly well. Now I'm even hotter on the rest of the line.
