Another intense experience
Many thanks to Nick for the bottling of Iris Noir Pure Parfum :-) This is yet another "wild experience" from Ensar Oud. I don't really know what to think of this fragrance, as I don't like the top note at all, but the scent becomes quite solid after a while. The longevity is strong at 10 to 12 hours and the sillage is successful so far.
The top note smells somehow herbal, earthy and resinous like cypress. These are joined by balsamic labdanum, dried plums and ribwort syrup. The heart note is dominated by intense oud with an animalistic musk. There is still a certain leatheriness in the background. The base then has an excitingly sweet, creamy and vanilla-like scent of sandalwood.
This is a fragrance by Ensar Oud that I don't find all that bad. I'm still hoping for the absolute "WOW effect" and still have a few bottlings in stock.
