Phew, once again a blatant experience
Many thanks to Nick for the bottling of Musc Gardénia Borneo 50K :-) Once again, I'm dealing with a really blatant fragrance that is simply difficult for me. The longevity is good at around 8 hours. The sillage is really strong, especially at the beginning.
The top note smells very intensely of herbs such as mint and rosemary. There is some honey in the background. The heart note then becomes quite resinous with a clear aroma of cypress. I cannot detect the floral notes mentioned in the fragrance pyramid. The base then smells very strongly of borneo oud and therefore also very earthy and woody. Musk also provides a strong animalic note.
In the end, the whole thing is too much of a good thing for me. Ensar Oud and I will probably not become friends.
