To the Sea
Elicriso means strawflower in Italian. It grows in the dunes of Versilia in Tuscany. Lines the way down to the Ligurian Sea. But the scent of the plant has less of a strawy scent and more of a slightly pungent, angular spice reminiscent of curry. A deep aroma. Memories of a landscape.
This fragrance blends with maritime chords and a note that I would have rather assigned to a sherry barrel than Bay Rum. Something dark red berryy. With accents of flamed wood.
The strong wort evenly fades after a good 3 hours and blends in with the softer notes of sherry.
