A trip to the past
Daniel Josier has fixed his gaze and his nose on the Sumerians to bring us his interpretation of the beginnings of perfumery. This elegant-cut fragrance has the magic of being a fragrance with heavy and dark notes, but nevertheless, as in this collection, it is relatively easy to wear. I think that of all it is the one with the least versatility since I see it more focused on temperate and cold climates and it seems quite formal, but that does not detract from its charm. Spices play a fundamental role, accompanied by woods with personality, such as Cedar, a light touch of Oud and that background that the perfumer of Sandalwood and Musk likes so much. These notes form a fragrance with character but charm. It´s one with the best duration and trail of the collection, although like all of them it pretends to be rather intimate, I do not recommend it blindly, but to try it.
