Simply intolerable..
Ghala I got as a bottling with a purchase in the souk. In advance, I want to say right here that I have never dealt with the brand nor the fragrance. So I am completely without prior knowledge nor expectations approached the test. Normally, I like decent fragrances and also oud.

Ghala is but really one of the most unpleasant fragrances which I have ever tested. The animalic oud with the incense and rose make a I just have to say it disgusting combination, it just smells like feces or a barn on the farm, but the barn hasn't been cleaned in a while. It is the first scent with oud which has caused such a dislike from me. I just can't smell any other notes here. My body and my head just want to escape at this smell and jump into the shower.

Who wants to smell like this please????

I certainly do not, I have asked some acquaintances what they think of it the result was the same for over 5 people: this stinks of feces or stable.

It is really one of the few fragrances which I can not still somehow award points. Ghala is for me simply a nightmare
The nightmare has also still felt the durability of radiation after a reactor accident. Ghala probably lasts for days without any problems. Unfortunately, I had to go into the shower after an hour. But the shower couldn't fix the problem either. Ghala survived that too. Only a 2x shower brought redemption. The silage is really scary too.

You want to show your fellow men times olfactory the middle finger here is the solution: Ghala

Ghala manages to empty rooms faster than a fire alarm. That is really unique.

I'm really disgusted with Ghala. I don't want to offend anyone here with this review, but I can't describe my impressions any other way.

An olfactive desire for Traditional & Natural Oud Lovers
If I want to make it precise, Ghala is a real olfactive experience for traditional Oud-Rose lovers who are tired of experiencing regular, synthetic molecules based Oud-Rose combos available in the market. I wouldn't say, it's gonna be a complete departure from what we are used to of, yet it's different enough for me to fall in love at first sniff...
Yes, I'm pointing at it's quality of ingredients and high concentration of the pure parfum. To the best of my humble knowledge and inadequate experience, I have been completely in agreement with the Perfumer or the owner of the house that in Ghala, they've poured nothing but all natural ingredients, at least, to my nose. From the very first spray, It screams the legitimacy of the claim of the Perfumer.

However, Ghala starts with a beautiful deep, sweet, spicy Kalakasi Oud along with Anatolian Rose which is quite sparking and citrusy, a bit lemony I would say. Which is first difference from the traditional Oud-Rose combos to my nose, this is definitely missing in the regular things in the market. The opening last for may be 20-25mins.
After that, it becomes Oud dominating or I may say it's woody facets are unfolded by putting Cedar at work. There's Frankincense is listed but I can't get enough of it, may be suppressed by Oud, but yes, there's a resinous feel in it. Please don't think, Rose is gone here, rather Rose takes the sit just behind the driver (i.e.Oud).
From this phase till final drydown I can't pinpoint when Pachouli and Vetiver comes to the game, but suddenly I feel that something adding sweetness and earthiness to this already mesmerizing composition and making it even more enjoyable. I must not forget to add Pure Indian Oud take the wheel of this olfactive shuttle from here! But don't ever expect, it's anything skanky or barnyard like, it's just so thik, sour-sweet goodness of Pure Indian Oud.
And the journey of evolving aromatherapy stops here by fading away of Rose at this point and the scent settles down slightly sweet, slightly earthy and mostly woody structure of traditional Indian Oud till it's completely gone leaving a intriguing olfactive trail in the mind...

I'm not gonna compare Ghala with anything though, there are some phases in it having similar facets with some Niche or even Artisanal fragnances I have experienced. I'll let it open for others to explore... All in all, Natural Fragrance lovers should at least try it if they want something familiar yet rich and unique...

Tradition in the modern age.
Sometimes it does not take much to inspire me Ghala is a straight forward Rose-Oud fragrance that skillfully shows that Rose-Oud is not equal to Rose-Oud. At the same time, Ghala shines through decidedly high-quality raw materials and a finely balanced composition.

In the top note is a green seeming citrus-spicy Taif Rose, as well as Indian rose, closely followed by an aromatic Indian Kalakassi Oud.
As a reference, you can bring up Malik Al Taif by Areej Le Doré. The opening of the two fragrances is indeed comparable, although in Malik Al Taif was processed far more animalistic oud.
Ghala is here more elegant, less demanding and the oud is rather delicate animalic.
The heart notes hint at incense and cedar, but the scent remains green-citrus-spicy on a shimmering bed of oud.
In the base, Ghala evolves into a wonderfully creamy sandalwood-patchouli-vetiver-oud blend, losing some of its effervescence.
Ghala strikes me as very celebratory, uplifting and bright throughout, with beautiful depth from the processed ouds, without being heavy or too much.

With Ghala you get a perfume that is beautifully balanced and you can smell its natural quality.
Durability & Sillage are excellent by 25% fragrance oil content, without being penetrating.
The price of 350EUR for 100ml is for my feeling more than appropriate.

Ghala is worth your time & a test in my opinion, even if you already own one or more Rose-Oud fragrances. :)

It's not a bad perfume, but way to simple for the price and for similar offerings in the market, I would go rather for Iperione by Tiziana

This 'perfume' is disgusting. The entire line is disappointing but at least Heyam is wearable

Initially pungent and citric spicy-floral, this rather animalic, oriental floral-woody Fall fragrance, settles to a creamy earthy-woody base
