Waxy chocolate, screechy jasmine, unpleasant blend
Oh no. What a weird mixture of notes. This doesn't work for me at all.
I often have the problem that chocolate notes, especially from indie/artisanal brands, smell very waxy and like chocolate scented candles to me. I thought the floral notes would help to counter that, but instead this smells like a dissonant mixture of a chocolate-coffee candle and a very perfumey, screechy, borderline soapy jasmine. The cherry doesn't stand out. I think it's supposed to tie the floral and gourmand aspects of the scent together, but it doesn't really do that, everything smells so jumbled to me.
After it has dried down, the fragrance turns more palatable, as the jasmine vanishes away. It's mainly a waxy dark chocolate scent then, nothing new, nothing impressive, nothing terrible. The coffee has moved to the background at this point, but I think it adds some much-needed bitterness to the chocolate, which I appreciate.
Even though I like all the notes in theory, this just isn't for me. I noticed I generally prefer designers or more "crowd pleasing" niche brands when it comes to chocolate. This smells kind of homemade, it has the same vibe as the bottle design, which doesn't appeal to me either.
