Innocent and perilous, whose immaculate whiteness hides a truly luxurious perfume, which it claims with intoxicating, animal, fruity, green, exotic, narcotic, mystical and indolent emanations. The scent of jasmine is unmistakably fresh and comforting. Night jasmine smells stronger at night because it produces white, creamy, fragrant flowers that appear in the summer. This produces a powerful and noticeable fragrance, especially at night. The fragrance of jasmine evokes an intoxicating, sensual and exhilarating state of mind. I love the fragrance of jasmine, which is perceived by walking among the jasmine bushes in bloom at night when the scent is strongest. This flower has a rich, sweet, fruity and sensual scent and is often seen as a symbol of seduction, femininity and love. Unlike other flowers, jasmine also has a slight animal touch with a tenacious, musky smell. The combination of feminine sweetness and masculine wildness makes the smell of jasmine universally appealing.
First things first, the name breaks down simply: Lab for laboratory, Eau for water and Beau for beauty. Labeau takes a minimalistic, pure approach to scent. Rather than complex olfactory journeys, it focuses on singular floral fragrances, building complementary notes to balance and round out the scent. Here you are, my take on jasmine.
Eau de Jasmin opens with a powerful citrus explosion that captures your attention with that irresistible aura of beauty and seduction. The citrus accord is not too spicy or sour; on the other hand, it pivots towards a sweeter and more rosy nuance. The presence of other flowers, such as roses, tames the spiciness of bergamot and mandarin. Try to imagine the subtle breeze rising in the twilight. At that hour, time stops, it becomes slow, and everything is silent, even the loud sound of cicadas.
Something dense and deep in the heart attracts and captures the senses. The nose heightened white jasmine flowers with a handful of hedione and other mellifluous flowers such as orchids give it a deep, warm, sensual and animal impression. The magnificent rose bushes exude a deep sweet-smelling fragrance, while the white stars of the jasmine flowers and their fragrance blend with the sweet scent of the rose. Jasmine takes on a penetrating nuance when combined with other floral notes such as rose. With so many species, the unmistakable smell of jasmine can sometimes vary. Some species have a slightly sweeter, musky, or even a little camphor smell. For example, Spanish jasmine may have a creamy and slightly white peach-like odour. Arabian jasmine is lighter and even more fruity than Spanish jasmine. It is a sweeter variety that is lightly vanilla scented. This is sensual, carnal, animalic, sweeter, mysterious, and almost narcotic, without the fresh and herbaceous note of the other varieties.
First strong, then subtle, the sweet and slightly fleeting scent of night jasmine is one of the little joys of the season. Detected during morning walks, late evening, or when the air is still, its delicate scent is as crisp and clean as the spring air. Something rubbery rises from the base. Now I get a hint of clean patchouli with tons of musky and musky facets. There is a hint of dry woods, which, together with musks, evoke the purity of freshness from nature.
I am impressed with this cheap thing. It has an average projection and longevity, a jaw-dropping opening that subsides into a leathery scent after a few hours. A spring scent is suitable for summer nights in the open air. As there are five other interpretations, I can't help but check out
L'Eau d'Iris and
L'Eau de Rose. But also those featuring lily of the valley and green tea intrigue me a lot.
I base the review on a 100ml bottle I have owned since May 2022.
