Soft/soft rinsed juniper
The Legendär brand, obviously a manufacturer of pens and related leather goods, has recently launched two fragrances. One of them is, appropriately enough, a leather scent. It's called Juniper Leather and the name is indeed a program here. The brand is sophisticated, and the description explains something about the history of leather. That sounds curious at first. Juniper, Juniper in German Juniper, is also quite exciting here.
So filling put on and in the first test properly because the juniper was not sharp-intensive but dimmed perceptible, caressed the leather. This pleased and paved the way to the long term test. Although this did not turn out to be a symbolic elk test of the A-Class, the sobriety is back. First of all, this is due to the fact that the Juniper Light does not inspire me much in the long run. Juniper is allowed to be intense, herbaceous, not very straightforward. This is not the case here. The fragrance has a kind of route that you walk along stoically. It's not the route of a far-sighted cosmopolitan, but rather that of Lieschen Müller.
I would like to report that the lavender supports the juniper in its herbaceous nuances, but this does not happen. Iris and rose I also cannot olfactorically catch, which also does not let me mourn with the rose. Nevertheless, one can only guess that these ingredients are partly responsible for the frame and the limitation of the juniper, making it look pleasing.
Now Juniper Leather is gradually drying out, the leather is becoming a decade old, brittle binding. This is well done, smells good but this phase lasts for a short time. Too short. Vetiver? I can't confirm. Oakmoss? The effect of oakmoss is not achieved here.
If all that is missing, how is the leather? Is it good at least?
Honestly? No. Introvertedly, it exudes more of a delicate touch, neither used nor new, neither high class nor cheap. In my opinion, it's far too conventional if you seem to have an intellectual, sophisticated claim yourself. It is loveless and lifeless. Worse still, it has no strength. Remarkable that one sprayer Megamare from 7 o'clock in the morning outlasts several sprayers Juniper Leather on the same spot and many hours later, as if the one fragrance had almost destroyed the other.
Today I will be brief because there is little to discover with this fragrance. For those who like green leather on a softly rinsed level and also want little leather beyond that, here ends the search. With the best will in the world I can't think of anything more.
