Montreux,
the city where man is offered a wide range of landscapes and regions, from waterfront promenades lined with flowers, sculptures and Mediterranean trees to alpine mountain regions. A similar description can be given for the perfume of the same name: a sweet pear note leads the top note and is rounded off with water lily and red fruits, evoking a fruity image reminiscent of a watermelon note This image becomes increasingly floral and creamy over time, thanks to the floral accords in the heart note and the musk-cedarwood combination that closes the fragrance.
However, I was most surprised by the longevity of this fragrance, as even after a whole week the scent could still be detected on the test strip, which I don't find very common for such a fresh fragrance.
I find the bottle very fitting in relation to the fragrance, as it looks very simple and calm and yet radiates a certain elegance.
For the price of around €100, you get a relatively monochrome, yet high-quality complete work from LES DESTINATIONS.
In conclusion, however, I would like to emphasize that although Montreux is registered as a feminine fragrance, it can also be unisex and is more suitable as a quiet everyday companion, but thus remains in the hills of the Alps and does not rise to the Olympus of masterpieces.
