The most beautiful gentleman's fragrance I have ever experienced!
I am a passionate collector of fragrances of all kinds.
A big fan of Xerjoff, Parfums de Marly, Widian London and co.
But also of Prada, Louis Vuitton, Boss and all the other mainstream Douglas fragrances...

With currently more than 120 EdT, EdP, Parfums, Extrait de Parfums and and and in my collection, I think I already have a certain idea of good and high-quality fragrances.

I have fragrances for €17.99 in my wardrobe, but also some for €400 and upwards...

Yes, I also have 7 "MAD Parfumeur" fragrances in my collection and as Ash Ketchum said 26 years ago ?
"gotta catch em all !!!"

But now to the Narcotic

I'm not exaggerating when I say .... I'm not conjecturing, I'm not making assumptions and I'm not claiming .... but SAYING!

It is by far the best fragrance my nose has ever enjoyed.

The longevity is out of this world, the sillage wears itself all around you for hours ... it's not a napalm area damage sillage that leaves everyone around you breathless or in a coma (just to make a small point about the name of the extrait de parfum)
It's more the kind of sillage you notice in the morning when freshly ground coffee runs through the machine, you walk past a stall selling roasted almonds or when James Bond played by a cross between Chris Hemsworth, Matt Bomer and Sean Connery enters the casino in his best tailored suit and attracts everyone's attention....
It's a mesmerizing, feel-good, exciting and, shit, ultra sexy sillage that makes the last lotter Phillip look like Casanova himself.

An elegant, addictive, feel-good fragrance!

It fascinates with the interplay of all its fragrance notes, each of which shakes hands simultaneously and alternately, so much so that it is never possible to smell individual fragrances, which makes it even more of an indestructible, unapproachable, sexy and elegant clean man
The nose is most likely to recognize the idea of citrus, lychee and peach from time to time. The rest envelops these three fragrances like a protective shield of mist that lets everyone in but never lets them out again ...and honestly, you don't want to get out of there ...

It is lovely, sweet and powdery in a rather masculine way for me because when you wear it, you understand the attraction a James Bond must have had on women.

It has just the right amount of fruit and undergrowth to be mother-in-law's favorite, yet the same amount of undergrowth, musk and animalics to make your stepsister say "why is there straw here?"

You are the guy or gal with this scent in every situation ... but as I said, even if it is very pleasing and round instead of angular, I find it more masculine...

Once again ...
With this fragrance you are the eye-catcher in every situation in life, the one you don't want to turn away from, the one you want to put in a glass case forever, the one you want to be seen with in your arms at every soiree (party) ...

I have found it ... the fragrance of fragrances, the ultimate all-rounder, the H/S Beast in a tailor-made suit ... my new signature fragrance that kicks its rivals Mr. Xerjoff, Professor de Marly and Dr. Widien played by Tom Ford, Titzian Terenzi and Louis Vuitton in the ass in terms of quality, durability and price/performance at all times and without causing any major injuries.

And always .... at all times!
The girl ...or the guy gets!

Madness...
Imagine the following situation:

You've just had a shower after a visit to the barber, your beard and hairstyle are perfect. Dry off, brush your teeth, apply wax kick face cream, briefly comb through your hair. Get dressed! A suit, because you have an appointment with the managing directors at 10 a.m. on the 16th floor of a skyscraper in the middle of Manhattan. So fresh knickers, suit socks, white shirt and button up, trousers on and shirt in trousers, belt on, jacket off, no need for a tie, we don't have to overdo it, the people aren't that important. Bag packed, laptop in and now... NARCOTIC on, 2-3 spritzes and off to the street, take a cab to the business district. Cab arrives, I get in, 10 min ride, arrive and I get out and walk through the crowd into the building. No hurry, I still have 20 minutes. Off to the elevator, I'm not walking up the stairs. The elevator arrives, quite full. A colleague next to me, we have a quick chat. "Oh well," she says, "you smell really good" *SMOKE* Okay, quick coffee and off to the appointment. Everything's easy, no big deal, appointment done, out of the conference room and off we go: there he is! Come here! Hey you goody, what's that? Hey super gentlemen, what scent is that? Everyone who gets into the elevator asks what kind of scent it is. What are you wearing today? And I'm like: Dude, what do you all want from me???? I was in the elevator 4 hours ago! It's 2pm!!! - Now more than ever: What's that scent?

THIS IS EXACTLY NOT how it happened to me. But THAT'S EXACTLY how I imagine it when I'm wearing the scent and getting fries at Werner's sausage stand around the corner. Yes, a little imagination never hurt anyone. The only thing - BUT - that is true about the story is the scent. It's exactly as described in the story above. INCREDIBLY elegant, classy, gentlemanly, luxurious. It gives you exactly the right vibes. Maybe next time I really will go out for chips in a suit...

Erba Pura? No Fleur Narcotique!
So I read here that it's supposed to be Erba Pura.
I thought to myself oh no, not another Erba Pura dupe, we have more than enough of those already.
But when I received my bottle, it reminded me of a completely different fragrance.
One that I once had and sold again because it was too feminine for me.

The fragrance in question is Fleur Narcotique Eau de Parfum.
If you compare the fragrance notes, they are identical.
So definitely not an Erba Pura dupe but Fleur Narcotique!

Now that we've cleared that up, let's move on to the fragrance.
Fresh fruity opening, quite citrusy to my nose.
Without looking at the notes, I would have immediately guessed bergamot.
I wouldn't have guessed lychee and peach straight away, but if you smell it for longer it makes sense.
For me, however, bergamot was the most prominent.
In the drydown it becomes more floral, yes, once again too feminine for my taste, as with Ex Nihilo.
But don't worry, that's just my personal opinion, other men don't seem to see it that way.
Peony is most prominent in the DD, with jasmine in the background.
But the fruity notes do not disappear.
On the contrary, they are still prominent and harmonize well with the floral notes.
Incidentally, the peony reminds me quite a bit of Delina, I wanted to mention here.
That's why there are also slight parallels to Delina in the DD.

What remains is a clean, floral, fruity fragrance that is unisex, but as I said, a tad too feminine for my taste.
Nevertheless, a beautiful perfume that will appeal to the masses.
There is really nothing to complain about the fragrance.
Top quality at a very fair price, as you usually know it from MAD Parfumeur.

The performance is strong!
Although the DNA is very pleasant, you shouldn't overdo it with the spraying.
Durability and sillage definitely Champions League.

Unfortunately hard to get online.
In Cologne you can find it in the Köln Arcaden, as a little tip for the locals here.
You can test it and almost every MAD fragrance there.
Fans of Fleur Narcotique and, in my opinion, Delina too, can buy it blind.

Mission impossible.....
After reading the review by "DasMarv", I absolutely had to test this fragrance !
No sooner said than done, a dear perfumer sent me a sample....... Narcotic sprayed on and WOW !
"DasMarv" is right, this fragrance is intoxicating. The entire fragrance pyramid is tightly interwoven, difficult to name individual fragrance notes.

It is fresh, fruity, soft, wild and beautiful............ there is a tiny reminder of Cool Water Eau de Toilette or rather those commercials with those breathtaking men :-)))
But Narcotic is more mature and has more soul. This fragrance is unisex, but I see it more on a male being.

So if James Bond or Ethan Hunt picks me up for a date wearing Narcotic, I'll be narcotized, fascinated, electrified
........Stars in my eyes :-))

I was so enthusiastic at the beginning ..
Interesting how olfactory impressions can change. In any case, the first spray was a revelation and I'm lucky that you can't order this fragrance online anywhere. "The brisker Terre d'Hermes" I thought to myself.

During the extensive test, I was constantly reminded of Terre d'Hermes. And the durability, the price, the performance, everything was just right. A clear purchase.

Sprayed on again the next day. Oops, that's vintage green! Where has Terre d'Hermes gone? Perhaps a mixture of the two?

And then the exact same thing happened to me with Vintage Green: After initial euphoric enthusiasm, I was more and more annoyed. It must be this Petalia® that, like many synthetic raw materials, initially convinces and then disappoints over time. Me at least.

I really do know worse fragrances and if I ever come across Narcotic on another person, I will certainly find it attractive (the fragrance).

Fragrance description: Green (tea), fresh (bergamot), lusciously sweet (lychee) and lusciously floral (indefinable).

And once again we have proof that extensive(!) testing before buying can be worthwhile.
