Nice woody midweight blend
Sampling the other recent release from Motif Olfactif, Sentier des Pins, a fittingly pine-centric fragrance that’s is mostly fresh, not in a citric way, but in a nuanced “fresh pine meets florals and resins” sort of way, not by any means a burnt pine resin type scent but not a screechy green pine either. It strikes me as fairly unique and probably requires me another couple of wears to become fully acquainted with, but as with most of the house’s creations, I’m intrigued and want to smell more.
As usual, the pricing is very reasonable for a niche fragrance in today’s market, at $110 for 50ml in EDP concentration. I’d certainly recommend that others check out this house if they haven’t yet!
