Simply In Love!
First of all, I would like to apologize if the review is too unpoetic for many, because I don't like typing much at all. I'm more of a statement girly (you're as old as you feel!!!) here.
I do read poetic, sweeping reviews, but I'm not able to write something so melodious and well-rounded. Probably due to a clear scientific inclination - too much dry technical literature has spoiled me.
I became aware of this fragrance because the marketing and the bottle initially appealed to me. Very simple. Basically, I like bright, purist bottles... if the fragrance still suits me ... Fireworks!
The fragrance pyramid then grabbed me. Rice and clay? What does that smell like? Tea (I like it) iris (I like it even more) bergamot and sandalwood (anyway!). Luckily I came across a lovely lady here who sent me a bottle...
What can I say. I was blown away. Slightly citrusy and fresh at first, then close to the skin but pleasantly woody and spicy. I smell clay. Very pleasant. Not too earthy and muddy. I haven't tested anything comparable yet. Other tea fragrances such as Wūlóng Chá Extrait de Parfum are much fruitier next to Naked Dance. Naked Dance is soft and delicate, but the woody note gives it a certain twist. Yu Sōn, for example, is fruity (creamy) and not powdery. The powdery iris in Naked Dance is pleasantly present, not dry as dust.
I am in Love. My signature canidate.
