I wouldn't want that much power
Lignum Vitae (wood of life) is the Latin (botanical) name for guaiac wood and Forte means strong. I do not find the guaiac in Lignum Vitae Forte that strong. But it is definitely in it. Lignum Vitae Forte is definitely woody. It also looks natural. I couldn't make out leather and since I don't like leather, I don't miss any. At the spraying place the scent was just too strong for my olfactory nerves (so here is the Forte). It began to flicker and then I quickly pulled my nose away again. But in the aura it was okay. The aura, however, reached a few meters. In times of Corona ideal, because you are perceived meters away against the wind. Still at the end of the ballroom, where the people now stand at a distance of two meters or if only two people are allowed per ballroom, if they don't live together, then they have to dance at a distance of two meters.
In itself, however, the scent did not seem so special to me, that is to say that it is a wooden oriental and there are felt like sand on the beach (perfume spoils me). There is no oud in here! That is a plus.
Unfortunately, one of the fragrances remains virtually forever on clothing wherever you touch it with a homeopathic amount of Lignum Vitae Forte. Without seeing the pyramid, the base (and the smell of the clothes) smelled fruity and almost like clove oil. I don't know if this is oil of the daffodil or Nagarmotha or both. I had to wash everything today. Not because it smells bad, but because it smells at all. My wrist still smells like Lignum Vitae Forte in the evening because my arm was stuck briefly in the sleeve of the dress I wore yesterday at noon. For other people, the strong sillage and long durability would probably be a reason to rate the perfume higher. The price-performance ratio is increasing but I don't want that much performance.
In my opinion, Lignum Vitae Forte is more suitable for the colder season. The scent is rather but not exclusively male. It is obvious when you can wear Lignum Vitae Forte: when you are in quarantine. In times of plague, cholera, corona. You can dribble it into your plague beak at the front, then you are guaranteed not to smell the bad smells of the world anymore. It's also suitable for pathologists. I've already mentioned the lonely ballroom upstairs. You can use it to mark a trail for others to sniff. So for example at a scavenger hunt (which is not about scavenger). If you want to scent a room with it, you can simply rub the walls or run quickly through the room. Lignum Vitae Forte is certainly useful if you are looking for the exit of a labyrinth or if you got lost in the forest, you must have been there where it smells of Lignum Vitae Forte. Maybe the day before or two days ago, but you have been there at some point
