Hairdressing salon, Paris and Macarons
I received a sample of this perfume with an order and would like to dedicate a comment to it. More people must be able to enjoy this perfume.
The sillage and durability of Floral Gourmand are really unbeatable. When I open the cap of the specimen, my hands smell of it even hours later without spraying. One sprayer is enough and you are surrounded by a heavenly scent cloud for many hours.
A picture: On a warm, sunny day in May, I'm sitting in a chic, clean and very expensive Parisian hair salon, eating macarons while leafing through Vogue. A customer enters the salon and I meet soft and creamy smelling flowers. Next to me, a lady is washing her hair with expensive shampoo.
The perfume is very creamy, fresh and flowery and somewhat gourmand, but would certainly be suitable for gourmet newcomers, as the individual fragrances simply interact very nicely. One should like sweet scents, but iris and frangipani do not seem stuffy or overwhelming here. The black currant in the top note gives the fragrance a sweet freshness and the creamy base makes it incredibly long-lasting and inviting. One simply wants to embrace this fragrance. I think it suits every season and I see it more on a 20+ lady, not younger. I loved to layer it with Mojave Ghost by Byredo when I wanted to give it a little more freshness.
If you like CH Good Girl, Hugo Boss Alive and Versace Crystal Noir, you will be very happy with this. It has more niche quality compared to these and is definitely worth a test.
