A balanced floral fragrance
One of the first perfumes I've sampled and tried from Pineward-- which, in fact, Alfiryn is the scent that enticed me to buy my first handful of samples from the line-- and also what made me start getting into perfumes as a hobby.

Alfiryn is a floral blend with a dewy, fresh initial spray that to me is reminiscent of wet hay in the best possible way-- not like something in it is rotting, like something in the haystack is sprouting-- It's light, and dries down quickly into that wonderful white floral that's not overly powdery or musty. This scent is exactly what I'd imagine a forest after the rain would smell like, the transition from winter to spring after a sun shower. The first time I sprayed this, I sneezed like I'd walked right into a pollen cloud; It's a great spring and late summer fragrance with minimal earthy or spicy undertones you'd find in most else of Pineward's products. It stands out-- in a good way! Truly unique, deep, something that makes me want to pull petal stems from inside a fairy ring. I wore this most of this year's autumn and it kept me warmer more than any of the coats I wore.

Pine-wood surprise
Alfiryn is nothing you know from Pineward family. It’s flowerish and …nice and gentle from the first sniff. Narcissus and lotus are nicely wrapping and cherishing ewpecially when the weather is like raining cats and dogs with 1/0C outside. It becomes with time a little sour but in a warm way, only to finally take you to the woods. But no, not the dark gloomy pine one. It is fed with sun, joy and excitement- an exotic forest, full of light and ..hope. That this rain will stop or at least turn into snow sparkling in the sunlight.
If you look for a „typical” Pineward, this one will be dissapointing. If you care for travelling to the woods which is located on the other side od the globe (writing this from Europe), than it is worth a try!

Nice dense white floral led
One of the more recent releases from Pineward Perfumes, Alfiryn, is almost certainly the most floral entry I’ve tried from the line, an indulgent white floral-forward blend of narcissus. It’s rich, dense, not too sharp or powdery, has a very vague, slight sweet quality in the background that gradually smoothens the entire blend over time as it dries down. It’s quite good while not being in my preferred genre but something I highly recommend that others check out, since I think this could work for a lot of people. I continue to be impressed by the quality and expanding diversity of the Pineward line.

Alfiryn is priced at $205/135/80 for 57/37/17ml, seemingly the current standard pricing for most entries in their own brand’s line (not Apoteker Tepe), fair enough for dense, rich, niche compositions.
