Cloudy moss for the beauty!
I've only been to Stuttgart once in my life, but I hadn't heard of this perfumery. The Schlossparfumerie Wolff & Sohn existed for over 100 years, tried its own creations since the turn of the millennium and closed its doors last summer. As I smell here, probably much to my regret. Because the quality and style (at least of this creation) reminds me but very much of Parfumos Parfumerie of the hearts: Harry Lehmann.
What you get here is a merciless chypre overload: neat moss until it quwilt out of my ears, bitter wilted petals press them further in. Rose zrigt itself tart, not a bit sweet.
A surprisingly modern molecular musk note spreads a fluffy cloudy blanket, on which I am ready to fall.
Surprisingly, I perceive no heaviness and Pour la belle shows up as little stale as chypres can just be for my nose. For this one has nothing dusty about it, no attic mustiness, rather the smell of crisp greenery, fresh twigs.
Bergamot and ylang ylang brighten this fragrance perhaps a little, but are not independently perceptible, probably only provide the fine calibration.
Theme of this fragrance is the moss, which presents itself as an airy light wind.
When the fragrance settles in the base, a pleasant veil forms, which makes any lady seem approachable and familiar.
In fact, one of the most likeable to me from the Chypre range, which comes away with definitely too little attention here on the forum.
