Fantastic !!!

What an intoxicating combination this is. Using hedione and heliotropin together along with myrrh and rose could have gone way wrong, but this is so right. One of those rare fragrances I keep going back to my wrist for, to catch all of its unusual an intoxicating nuance. Hedione always has a sort of 'greenhouse' association and here it's so beautifully fresh on top of the creamy myrrh and rose. Beautifully complex, green and fresh yet somehow also deep and intoxicating, something in a category of its own.

Already at the first sprayer shows the fragrance its full glory. It comes one, after my feeling, a concentrated load of white flowers against with a sweetness of honey.
The perfume smells floral, warm, sweet and heavy. The scent is very romantic and dreamy. I see the fragrance on a woman from 30 years, who is in a beautiful English castle garden and sits there, with her girlfriends at a tea table. There are scones and many other treats and in the middle of the table is a huge white bouquet of tuberose and jasmine. It is spring and the warm rays of the sun make the honey in the glass sparkle.
The scent spreads good mood and you feel embraced by the warmth.

For me, the perfume remains very linear and hardly changes. The durability and sillage is very good. I would wear the fragrance more in the fall or spring. Since I have tested the perfume blind, I hope that I'm not completely off with my assessment. ;)
Anyway, I think it's beautiful and I'm looking forward to using up my remaining bottling.

Overhyped

I now own more than 20 different Dua fragrances and Aphrodisiac is one of the fragrances that disappointed me slightly. I also assume that the disappointment came because very many have talked this fragrance so beautiful. To me, this is a vanilla explosion with some light spice. He smells not even bad, but the hype I do not understand. The durability and sillage extremely strong, typical Dua halt :). Who stands on extremely strong vanilla typical fragrances, which is right with de fragrance. To all others who hope for something seductive mystical here; leave the fingers of it!

Divine drydown!

Dua fragrances are known to awaken their full potential after "macerating". This is especially the case with Aphrodisiac. Initially, the the longevity and silliahe was rather weak and hardly connected with the Dua power. But gradually, the color of the contents turned from light yellow to dark yellow. Even already in the direction of orange. From then on, the fragrance had the full Dua power!

The fragrance is too sweet to be able to wear it myself. For me personally, it is too feminine. Nevertheless, I smell the fragrance very much. The drydown is one of the most delicious and beautiful I have ever smelled. It delights me every time I catch a little pinch.

After the "macerate", the durability is so strong that the scent is easy to smell 2 weeks on clothes with just one spray. In addition, the Silliage is extreme. Yesterday I had only one sprayer on the chest and my girlfriend could smell the scent a room further all the time.

Poseidon's Aphrodisiac is on my wish list. I'm hoping for a more masculine scent with the Aventus note.
