I never got to smell the 2016 Invictus Aqua
So when I saw this I went for it.
Maybe I set the bar a little too high expecting something magnificent as the legend of the 2016 Aqua is such a vivid story…
When I gave the first few shots, I was disappointed… a slightly salty feeling, semi sweet scent. Not that it’ bad, but it’s definitely NOT something worthy of carrying such a legend of a description.
Maybe it doesn’t smell like the one it’s trying to imitate, but as I said, I wouldn’t know. What I do know is that the projection radius is minimal (barely 2ft), the sillage is weak (the trail is hard to find), and the longevity is nonexistent as well (MAYBE 4hours as a soft skin scent).
I don’t know, maybe I have to let the scent macerate (I’ve seen several videos about Dua Scents needing 6weeks to “mature” after exposing the juice to oxygen).
I’m doing exactly that, and I’m gonna give it another chance in 6weeks, but as of now…. This is nothing to get excited about
