Fresh, sweet mix, mostly modern with a hint of classic
Clearly intended for the Dua divas out there, it’s a multifaceted fresh, sweet, creamy, floral, fruity blend that very well suits the trends of modern women’s perfumes while still feeling like there’s a bit of a nod to classic florals in there somewhere. I certainly get a good deal of rose and vanilla, but it makes sense that there is a wee bit of sharpness (that classic element) via the violet, further fresh floral notes of orange blossom and ylang-ylang, along with some wildcard sweet notes of pear, tonka, toffee, and some musk tying it all together. I’m not sure this clicks with my personal style but I can say pretty comfortable that it would smell apropros on any woman, as it’s easy enough to enjoy as a more introductory fragrance for someone younger and still sophisticated enough for someone older. Certainly the sweet-averse might do best to steer clear of it, but otherwise, what’s not to like? Especially since it’s at the lower end of the Dua pricing of $50.
