Pineapple and cannabis, richly and provocatively put together
Pineapple Express a Dua original blend released in 2020 and surely one of my all-time favorite Dua releases, a mix of pineapple and cannabis, primarily, fresh and fruity with just the right amount of cannabis’ smoky and funky qualities. It’s also fittingly somewhat sweet, green, and woody/herbal. The main two concepts stand out about all others but it feels complete and well-rounded despite being boastful, with the pineapple and cannabis still being most noticeable above all other aspects of the fragrance. The additional notes of vetiver, pine, basil, and vanilla seem to add some additional quirks, though, that round things out a bit.
It’s very strong for a fresh fragrance, something that can be worn all day even in hot weather, and in that respect, it’s useful, while also really being a year-round fragrance for anyone that loves it as much as I do. Again, one of the best Dua’s ever put out there, roughly in my top 10 all time.
