Grandiose intoxicating

Which is not surprising, since "Shadow Play" is his complete copy. You may notice nuances in the single-digit percentage range, but the general fragrance experience, including the brute sillage and persistence, is 100% accurate for me here. If you hold them both next to each other and don't want to force yourself to do so, you will notice practically no difference.
Why "wow"? It smells incredibly sexy, sensual and seductive. It oscillates between the masculine chords of the oud and its spiciness and the patchouli, which is more sweet here. But you should have a weakness for dark sides or at least for dark clothes. A light cocktail dress and that scent - forget about it. Compared to MFK's Baccarat Rouge 540 it goes much more clearly in a masculine direction.
Finally, the crucial question remains: How do you feel about the copyist label? I have to admit, I'm a little torn. To put it badly, Dua Fragrances imitates everything that is hyped and loved in the perfume market and then locks these fragrances into cheaply printed bottles with plastic caps. And for me, a fragrance is a lifestyle article, which also includes product design. As I just said, this is simply not available here. And yes, it makes a difference in the whole product experience whether you smell your way out of a billoflacon that even Rossmann wouldn't dare to put on the shelf - or whether you do it from a heavy, ornamented designer flacon from Initio. On the other hand, Dua Fragrances manages to copy the high quality, very sophisticated and sometimes even exclusive scents of Initios Oud for Greatness 1:1. So that users then have to pay just a quarter of the price instead of 250 euros as in this case. And it is certainly not the case that they create weaker Smellalikes, but - quite the opposite - the quality in the bottles is already enormous and concentrated. And that's when I said to myself that the contents, including the chic Initio bottle, however chic it may be, are not worth an extra 180 euros. So I bought my little bottle of Shadow Play and Oud for Greatness will have its place of honour in the bottling range for the time being.
