Uranium Egoiste
Dear friends of the Dua's,
today geht around a fragrance almost unrated here, about which I would like to give you a review. Dua's YoungEgo (YE) is the replica to Platinum Egoiste (PE) by Chanel, which I like quite well, but in terms of performance is too weak.
Since I wanted to add a barbershop in the direction of "freshly showered" to the collection, however, no arbitrary shower gel fragrance came into consideration, I thought that a more powerful version of PE would be advisable after all.
Let's get to the scent:
Dua has done a better job in my opinion. So although there are parallels between PE and Dua's YE, but I can not speak of a strong similarity here. Alone the prelude of YE is, which is unfortunately known from Dua, unround. It resonates with the familiar oily note with what to me is an indefinable note of salmiac. The petitgrain from the original is unfortunately completely missing. Too bad, as this is the most beautiful note in the original in combination with the metallic lavender. Otherwise, a slightly stripped down version of the original comes to light, but that's about it. Until here, nothing special.
What can be seen, however, are both the durability, as well as the sillage. So the fragrance held with me at least 10 hours, the one or other time also up to 14 hours. On the clothes he remains for days. From platinum becomes uranium, so to speak!
The sillage is also quite strong. The fragrance fills no festival halls, but is already in smaller quantities clearly perceptible around you. Thus, 6 sprayers (and from the spray head really not much comes out) filled after more than two hours at least a small car, so that you could immediately perceive the scent when opening the trunk. That can be seen for a fresh scent but! I would locate the sillage just above Kirké, but still below Bentley for Men Intense.
The flacons are as usual underground for the price, as X-any drugstore fragrances come off better.
Can I recommend YoungEgo? Yes, for all those who love PE of Chanel and want to layer him due to lack of performance.
All others should here rather reach for alternatives such as At the Baber's by Maison Margiela, there you have more of.
As always, thanks for reading!
