Breeze yes but Hawaii?
Autumn is now soon around the corner and the weather is becoming more uncomfortable again. How about a little beach walk in Hawaii with a flower necklace around the neck and maybe a drink in hand? Or rather just sit in the sand and listen to the waves while the sun slowly goes down and colors the sky reddish?

Such scenarios I think of the name Hawaiian Breeze but does the fragrance what the name there more or less promises?

I experience a fruity start with quite a lot of currant (I link wrongly automatically with LVEB) which is drowned out a few minutes later by a citrus freshness. A light breeze I can imagine before my inner eyes at this point very well. But where was the pineapple hiding? Since I'm not a big pineapple fan, however, does not bother me.

The floral heart note should consist of rose, ylang-ylang, tuberose and lily of the valley. We find here so no typical for Hawaii flower representatives such as hibiscus or orchid that come to mind as a first when you think of the island. The strongest come through with me tuberose and rose.

The base is kept rather classic with sandalwood, patchouli and amber. A safe composition that hurts no one but just already felt 1000 times there was. Everything well balanced and so also no "wet earth" association comes up the me gladly times with too much patchouli overcomes.

On the whole, the fragrance seems to me rather synthetic. The H&S can unfortunately not really shine but are in the good midfield. So unfortunately also the entire fragrance for me. Since the production was probably discontinued (according to the info) makes him for me as a candidate for purchase even less attractive (since probably associated with higher procurement costs)

At this point I would like to thank LisaHoneyBee because I could test this fragrance through her great hiking letter.

No sandman in a caftan
"The merchant of dreams" - there arises before my inner eye the image of the Sandman in the caftan at a market stall as in Aladdin surrounded by camels.

From this image, however, you have to say goodbye very quickly, because here we have it not with an Oriental but with a woody-fresh fragrance to do.

Very manageable are the fragrance notes and no great confusion. Only musk is to be found in the top note. Where then the freshness comes I can not explain.

In the heart note we meet patchouli and cedar. Here clearly prevails the cedar and the woody comes out well and dominant. A wet patchouli grave remains here (fortunately) out. The conclusion is an amber base. Does not hurt but so often smelled.

A fragrance suitable for every season. Unisex, thereby rather what for everyday life than the great appearance with medium durability and Sillage.

My thanks goes here still to Zerotonin for the participation in their hiking letter without which I would probably never have had this fragrance under the nose.

Thank God you're not an "angel"
The fragrance starts fresh and almost citrus (no idea where that comes from). With me dominates in the top note quite clearly the pear while I do not get much from the black rose.

It also does not take long then a beautiful gentle vanilla orchid can be perceived. She also remains for a few hours.

With the base, I had my reservations at first.... Patchouli and praline, if that does not scream Muglers Angel.... but fortunately I was taught better. The lychee adds a fruity touch and is the dominant part. Papyrus and incense I perceive only on the edge.

To the similarity to La Nuit Tresor L`Eau de Parfum I can unfortunately say nothing at this time because I had him not under the nose.

Unfortunately, one could have put in the durability and sillage still something on it (where we are here already in the higher midfield). However, this may also be due to the fact that I have tested a manufacturer's sample and they are with the spray head generally a little stingier than a bottle. At this point I would like to thank Hildchen63, because I could test this fragrance through her hiking letter.

A men's fragrance or rather unisex?
This is my first review of a "men's fragrance".

At least he is so led here. Other houses / brands was here quite clearly the unisex stamp on, because that's exactly what he is for my nose. A nice cozy scent for the cooler and wetter days (I blame the cinnamon for that).

The top note does start fruity with grapefruit for a few minutes but that doesn't last long. The pepper resonates rather discreetly, as well as bergamot. We are quite quickly in the cinnamony heart note. No trace of chili for me. Saffron peeks around the corner but then disappears again. Tobacco and leather form a beautiful and well done conclusion.

I find the fragrance quite times suitable for everyday use (if now not just suitable for sports)

Avon rings
These words immediately bring to mind the image of the Avon consultant in the pink/purple Chanel-inspired costume from Edward with the Scissor Hands. But they really did exist, the Avon consultants of the early 90s. My mum was one of them (though without the costume)

She also always had little lipstick samples like that for her clients or those who (supposedly) wanted to be. Quite this window of my life and the mini lipsticks immediately come to mind when I put Lipstick on. That's quite an accomplishment because I must not have thought about it for almost 20 years.

Maison Margiela has done here so for me whole work. The durability and sillage are also in the upper range. Now I may watch as I come to a cheap restflakon, because the fragrance is probably unfortunately no longer produced. If I am misinformed, please correct me.
