Like a punch in the face of some, great love for me.
This fragrance polarizes to the maximum. Great love or extreme hate with nothing in between, 50/50. Some feel insulted by him. For me, however, it is the most wonderful, most honourable, most impressive, most amazing leather of all time. Childhood. The original 50's bag from my father's binoculars with which I always played. Heir to his great-grandson. GGA smells like the leather of this bag. Leather from the 50s. Wonderful. A very special experience

Boring blending mess...
I've been wondering for ages what everyone has found in this scent... Well, not everyone has such an 'alien' analytical nose and sometimes it annoys me to meticulously analyse this addiction to every single scent. Before I go for a review, I wear the scent several times and take notes by the book about every tiny movement of the notes contained in the juice. That's how it was with Jubilation. The first sniff was... yes, okay... it's good... but 'royal' is definitely not and 'the scent of scents' isn't either and 'divine creation' isn't either. And after wearing and analyzing it 3 times I finally realized: This is a completely random and aimlessly squeezed soup, without sense or understanding, the notes not balanced, stirred and shaken to olfactory powerlessness. In this broth the notes do not dance with each other, they are in a permanent war. The blackberry spits in the Opoponax's face while fighting tirelessly to the base for its right, and Mr. Opoponax kicks the blackberry's ass with a swinging agressive. And so it is with all the notes there. Honey and cloves and cinnamon... What the fuck, man? Who makes the SO a mixture with such an imbalance? And what for? Perhaps the 'royal' thing about the scent is the fact that kings have constantly started wars... I don't want to smell like that. A war, a soup, a fiasco. And a very boring fiasco, too. It could have been a nice scent if you had been more involved with blending. I would do things differently and above all throw out 25% of the notes so that one doesn't have to fight with the other for their rights. A very, very stressful fragrance for me. And extremely overpriced on top of that.

Became my favorite aquatic in a reviewer collab.
Please keep away from me all those who keep getting excited about the many 'flankers' of Miyake. 'Miyake, the Flanker King!', 'Not yet a Flanker!', 'But slowly it's enough with the Flankers!'. Let me tell you something, they're not as much flankers as you all think. ALL Miyake fragrances are unique and what unites them is the very special Miyake DNA. And this one has them, too. One sniff and there she is... Aaaaaah.... it's a Miyake. This Miyake is the ultimate in aquatic fragrance. It couldn't be more aquatic and I feel beamed to an empty, quiet beach in the Caribbean. No parties, no sangria-drinking vacationers, no string tangas. Just the engaging, quiet, sophisticated, salty beach romance. SO and no other I want to have an aquatic scent. When the salt hits the sandalwood, I'm in aquatic heaven. And the price is SOOO low for so much quantity and quality! Happy

New version not comparable to the old!
So sad... i have the old version in the opaque metal bottle and it was so extremely reformulated... you can almost cry. NO comparison to the depth of the predecessor. Why are they doing this?! The quality has also deteriorated. The old version is a beast! Extremely strong, extremely durable, monstrous sillage, very strong praline, oud in perfection, very much saffron... I am very sad about the reformulation

Roses floating in wine...
What a perfume... A very unique, boozy, narcotic, erotic, woody and powdery rose... It opens with roses swimming in red wine, then you get a rose-vanilla liqueur with some clean freshness from the peony and the drydown is a sweet, buttery sandalwood-musk-amber-rose. I have never smelled such a rose before and I'm happy I have this in my collection. I know many men who wouldn't wear a fragrance which has rose as the main note but this one I can absolutely recommend for a confident, modern and adventurous guy. Try it! :)
