"Magic Delicate"
In life I would not have expected that such an old fragrance from 1906 can still so current and especially like.
Bright, clean, magic - delicately a great radiant floral with depth.
The prelude seems most likely something more austere, but it immediately lays a soft fragrance over it and elated the whole bouquet of flowers.
The bergamot brings a breath of freshness like the air after the rain.
Cool elegance, buoyant freshness;
A great fragrance!

Evening Sun
The day is coming to an end.
In the garden, the evening sun sinks behind the trees.
A few rays of sunlight wink sporadically through the lush green canopy.
Warm air, windless, the birds chirping their evening roll call.
Full-bodied orange blossoms form the prelude. Tangerine and bergamot straddle in with a fruity fresh breeze.
Like the rays of the sun, neroli and iris also dance through between something green.
Finally, there's a great arrangement of floral, sunny, woody and warm.
For me, a full-bodied radiant fragrance.
The color of the perfume fits wonderfully to the fragrance experience.

Skill
Whatever 'sans artifice' is supposed to mean now in the context of the fragrance;
- here it means unadorned, look at Givenchy and in the vocabulary of Google it means - without artifice.
Artistry means skill, skill in any form whether craft, language or artistic to create works of art.
Now does it mean to have created this fragrance without artistry/ without skill?
Plump, unimaginative, without creativity without an idea, simply thrown together?!
I feel the fragrance as a work of art:
straightforward, clear, light, fresh, free, unrestricted and unaffected.
Starts with fresh, spicy ginger, cloaked by a slight pungency.
Tea, white tea and bergamot meet tangy. Rose also lingers, albeit in the background.
The tea seems tart, but I don't find it too masculine.
Bergamot takes out the tart a bit and sprinkles woody notes. Finishes with a fine, pure musk base.
Simple elegance and purity
- unadorned -
The fragrance could last longer; a pity

Allrounder
I had ordered me some time ago a filling of this fragrance.
Once tested and off in cabinet without thinking further about it.
I usually only go to the box where the samples are stored when I could seal a fragrance deal to enclose a few samples.
Hmm, Chanel 1957....
Pulled cap off atomizer, held nose to it and noticed a somewhat spicy, bright scent. Spicy is actually not my scent, but nevertheless, off with it on the skin.
Lo and behold, bright as a sunbeam, yes, slightly spicy but pleasant; no scratchiness or dust that gets stuck in the throat.
Warm as the sun on the skin, light-footed and clear.
Fresh as a spring morning at sunrise.
Yes, it reminds of spring, sun, lush green and clear blue sky.
Shines bright and clear, at the same time the fragrance warms.
I find it an absolute all-rounder, a very exclusive all-rounder that makes you think of the Côte d'azur.

Pineapple heavy
In advance; I am with still undecided whether I should get me a flacon.
A bottling of Bal d'Afrique has reached me at the weekend.
Initially, I perceived virtually only pineapple.
Only after pineapple smell must not really be, that is then nevertheless too monotonous for me.
Particularly since I do not stand at all so on fruity scents.
The next day I smelled again on the arm.
Vetiver and some cedar could be what is still decaying there. But very quietly.
So again from the beginning; New day new luck.
Again pineapple loadig - fresh, slightly acidic - absolutely not unpleasant.
A slightly different scent enters. Bit soft floral, however, I can not name a flower that sticks out. Something muted and creamy the whole thing.
Still in the background the pineapple. The pulls through the course through.
Pleasant is the fragrance in any case; so`` no risk - no fun`` Monday to work apply.
Already on the way to the office I was called back and asked what I had for a perfume on it. That would smell great.
Well and nu` I stand there.
I will use up the filling times and reconsider :-)
