Seductress Jezebel
The fragrance starts with indolic jasmine and voluminous beguiling animalic. Confident, lush physicality that quickly displaces jasmine.
My nose was not prepared for the animalic start in Jezebel. Impressed, I had to sit down, music off, just perceive and think.
To me, a barnyard-animal banana, it is attractive, intoxicating and slightly repulsive at the same time, nose stuck to the back of my hand.
The animalic challenge subtly takes a back seat to sweet fruit: Primarily overripe, sweet, burst pear. Best pear I've experienced in fragrances to date.
Fine cocoa wood and voluptuous, red rose play along in perfect harmony, not pushing too far forward at all for the time being, then taking over the lead role in the base and finally embedding you in the gourmand bliss.
Jezebel is a complex, multi-layered, oriental gourmand. EdP in extrait quality.
I can only wear a handful of animalic scents, animalics for beginners like "Civet | Zoologist" for example. For me personally, Jezebel is next, truly exciting stage of my olfactory development.
Almost simultaneously to Jezebel, I made acquaintance with "Gracious | Boadicea the Victorious". Both fragrances are similar in character, seem to have sprung from the same well of ideas. Stunningly beautiful siblings, but not identical twins.
