As a self-confessed fan of "Timbuktu | L'Artisan Parfumeur" from the same house, I had to test this new creation. So 1.5 ml tester directly from the manufacturer procured and off it went...

The first spray revealed cedar wood in the most magnificent way, powerful and bulky! But after a few seconds, the whole thing turned in an unfortunately different direction, because the fragrance suddenly became dark and bitter. Although the cedar is still minimally recognizable, but is unfortunately pushed by saffron and nutmeg in a direction that does not really appeal to me and over a few hours is unfortunately only an indefinable herbs - paste, additionally garnished with cumin, perceptible, which is also partly reminiscent of curry sauce.

Unfortunately, the sillage is also not really good. It seems to me as if the cedar was held captive in the bottle and after spraying immediately seeks the distance...

For me, this is definitely not a masterpiece. Maybe my expectations were too high, but from a fragrance that has "cedar" in the title, I also expect cedar and not an indefinable spice combo!

The first fragrance of a known person must of course be tested, because the specified ingredients should fit into my Beuteschema. So a filling worried and go...

Wow! Already the first spray has inspired me! Light lemon, juniper and cardamom mix with cedar and some patchouli and amber. In the drydown, labdanum and benzoin are added. However, the whole thing also still smoky and leather I can make out here only very minimal. But it's not bad, because I don't miss it here either. Burning asphalt would paraphrase the theme well.

But... wait a minute... I do know that scent...
There is a strong resemblance to "Noir Anthracite | Tom Ford" present and also to "The Dark Side | Tigha" parallels are quite recognizable. But another fragrance was probably also still godfather: "Interlude Man | Amouage" .

Despite all the comparisons, Air Tiger has something independent and thus comes on my shopping list. Friends of the previously mentioned fragrances can dare a blind buy here! Monster H/S!

Of course, I read all the statements published here before buying, but I still treated myself to a 30ml bottling.

The specified ingredients are exactly my Beuteschema and therefore I could not resist. The fragrance itself also fulfills everything to get into my all time top 10. Mainly the cedar opens up my nose with light sprinklings of cashmere wood. In the drydown, a little amber is also perceptible in the form of ambroxan, but so slight that even I, as a confirmed ambroxan hater, do not notice it negatively. In addition, there is a good portion of ISO E Super, which does the fragrance but very well and all in all can be very noble and charming. The but stated "rose" I can not make out at all, so I suspect that it must be a translation error, because "pink pepper" is something completely different. Although the hoped pepprigkeit is nowhere near as strong as expected, I would classify the fragrance as rather masculine.

The lack of sillage often mentioned here, I can fully subscribe. Hardly sprayed on, the scent is hardly to not at all perceptible by the environment, however, he keeps (close to the skin) quite a long time over several hours.

Who expects a sillage monster, will be disappointed, but I do not regret the purchase and continue to enjoy this unique fragrance

Received 5ml fragrance sample. Sprayed directly onto the skin. The Spicebomb fragrance DNA is present, unlike the rather modest "green" attempt.

Very reminiscent of the first Spicebomb variant, but not the "extreme" version. However, I expected much more "spiciness". Of sharpness is here unfortunately almost nothing to make out, as the original version has much more to offer!
Nevertheless, the fragrance seems overall very harmoniously balanced, but does not knock me right off the stool. In the opening a little redder in the form of berries and a slight hint of rosehip tea, which, however, was very strongly sugared. In the drydown, the vanilla benzoin increasingly, but not too strong, asserts itself.

All in all, I had expected more here. Friends of the original version, which have nothing against a restrained sharpness and berry, sweet fruitiness, can access here.
