He opens his phone list, Astarte, he calls her. I'll be there soon. Are you free? Yes! He's driving, Linkin Park blaring from the speakers, air conditioning running... He's past Inca. He's getting off at the next exit. A few more roundabouts, then left, the iron gate opens. The butler opens the door, leads him into the patio.

His heart is beating up to his throat, his hands are sweaty. The butler places a small tray on the gueridon, on it he places the Amex. Then the gong sounds, the signal to go up the stairs. The door is open, patent stilettos and a high-necked dress, her silhouette pure woman. Lowering his gaze, he walks to the leather sofa. Knowing what to do, he disrobes, breathing heavily, leaning over the back of the sofa. She reaches into his mop of hair, presses his face into the leather - again and again...........the fear of suffocating and that leather scent whip him up.

Then relief, but still she holds his mop of hair, murmurs in his ear: once a month, that's all my wife has agreed to. Her breath smells of raspberries.

...or: a fragrance that describes a woman who travels wherever the wind takes her - carefree, free and completely detached. She follows her desires, regardless of what might stop her.

I only know bohemian villages as a saying. But a woman who travels where she wants - that's definitely me. But I don't know Edward, so he didn't make that one for me.

Bourgeois also always means kind of stuffy. It's always funny when someone says they're not square. There's nothing wrong with that. Everyone is bourgeois in his own way. When it comes to cooking, I'm bourgeois. Because you only get the product in the end if you follow rules - and they make sense in cooking: desserts always according to recipe, etc. Why? Because it works! You end up wanting chocolate mousse and you end up with chocolate soup. The bread doesn't rise because you don't let the yeast rise properly, etc. Now that was the normal stuffy.
The unattractive stuffy means: have always done it that way and good. Or: as long as you put your feet under my table......... knows everyone, you do not have to explain.

And how does this unconventional woman smell now?

She smells of honey and jasmine, resinous, heavy and yet light - hard to describe, others can do better - not a fragrance for every day, but good for the soul - the stuffy soul.

Spicy powdery tonka bean with a hint of smoke describes the fragrance quite well for me. When I walk through the cold with my mask and always such a gush rises into my nose - divine. I am neither a fan of winter nor of masks, but here both are beneficial. Durability and Sillage are great! And if something lands on your scarf, you get something for a very long time. With this scent I feel beautiful and delicious :D

Without Tabla and Vieavecjulie I would certainly not have come to this great sweetheart. Thanks to both of you! And also to all the other perfumas/os who send you tips and suggestions and also their comments, statements and pinboard entries that lead to new fragrance ideas.

When you start something new, in this case perfume, it is great to start under guidance. And, as luck would have it, I ran into a savvy perfumer here. We met in a huge perfume department and spent an afternoon sniffing around. I enjoyed this afternoon very much and was also able to talk about my other love - cinema and films in general.

Hopefully next year we can go to the perfumeries again without a mask. Then it will be fun again to try out fragrances there.
