The Mona Lisa is an inspiration to many - in literature, cinematography, etc., but also in perfumery. Who will it be in the world of perfumes to the houses of Histoires de Parfums (HdP), who dared to perfume 7753 Unexpected Mona in 2019.
The code 7753 refers to the dimensions of the Mona Lisa painting. It is a very complex perfume from the oriental floral group. The perfume has a certain sharpness, woodiness and green marking at the same time. I haven't had a perfume of such complexity in a long time that I can't convey it in words. HdP likes to prepare surprises, combine the incompatible he knows and shock. For example, the 7753 Unexpected Mona perfume features contrasts of ingredients and notes. This is a very bold experiment with ingredients you wouldn't easily combine (tuberose-vetiver; pepper-currant bud, etc.). However, such a match has a clear concept, depth and danced notes of fantastic sensuality.
The beginning is marked by citrus and pepper. Bergamot and tangerine are mixed so that they can not be recognized individually, and ivy makes this opening green and fresh, neither fruity nor sweet. There is tuberose immediately, announcing loudly that this is their whole story together. Slowly the opening turns into a song of heliotrope and orange blossom. During the day we are accompanied by contrasts of green and white waves, which is surprisingly beautiful.

Patchouli prevails at the end with sandalwood, but somehow soft.
Tuberose is felt from beginning to end; is at the head of the parade, while the other ingredients are accompanied by a well-matched one - so that they seem harmonious as a whole. I must admit;puts you in a good mood.
As far as wear time goes, it's winter for me for sure. This is a great representative of the unisex perfume

Oud de Carthage Boucheron

Boucheron is a jewelry and jewellery house. It is their main activity, but they also have their own perfumes. Oud de Carthage is part of their luxurious La Collection line. It was created by the famous perfume nose Dominique Ropion for the house of Boucheron.
This is an oriental leather perfume, very powerful. In addition to oud, it contains frankincense, honey, tonka and labdanum.
Oud is actually a resin that forms in the evergreen agar tree. When an agar tree is attacked by a fungus, the heart of the tree tries to defend itself against the fungus and begins to secrete this precious fragrant resin that is now more expensive than gold.
The same thing happens to the shell. When a grain of sand enters the shell, it is a foreign body to the mussel and disturbs it, causing pain. Then the shell begins to secrete nacre, and so a pearl is formed, which is in the rank of a half-ship -gem. Thus it arises from pain and beautiful. Oud from agarwood also occurs when a tree falls ill with a certain fungus.
I just put the scent a little on the pulse point to test it. I also have to say that it survived the shower. After the shower it still smelled!!! So care should be taken when dosing. I think two spritzes is quite enough in colder weather. Who loves oud must test the.

La Feuille-Miller Harris

This is the only perfume that deserves to be called "all natural". The only one in which I feel nothing synthetic or in any way unnatural.
The notes are more than interesting, unusual. Of particular note is the tomato leaf note, which I was skeptical and curious about in equal measure. And it turns out that it is exactly the note that puts its stamp on the whole story in the most beautiful way. This tomato leaf that was so intense in the opening made me so "drunk" that I wished it were even stronger.
I know that sounds weird, a tomato leaf, it's really a bit unusual how magical it can be .... ?


I wish this initial phase lasted a bit longer, but what follows is really real magic. A rose, but there's something else, something green and a bit bitter.

This ivy helps the rose to adapt to this bitter magic and not turn into sweetness. There is nothing sweet here, I think it would spoil the whole story.
In the last phase, everything is a little softer, a little woodier.

After a few hours, all these ingredients blend into your skin so well that someone hugging you will think it's your natural skin smell. The fact that the perfume is vegan probably contributes to that, too.

The scent of untouched nature, so I would call this perfume. Recover from all the heaviness, a paradise for the senses.

Absolutely Unisex. I think spring, late summer and early fall would be its best time.

Due to the extreme specificity, especially in the opening, I do not recommend a blind buy. ?

Zenne, which represents the character of a beautiful and flirtatious woman. Honestly, when testing the scented pyramid, I was afraid of blackcurrants because I don't like them so special in perfumes. Currant is very irritating to me in some perfumes and is on the verge of tolerance. After the first application, grapefruit and currants are noticeable in the opening, but currant is not unpleasant. It seems to me that not even 5 minutes have passed and the wonderful vanilla has entered the scene. It is the same vanilla that I smelled in Hundred Silent Ways,soft and velvety. Nishana's house stands out for the special vanilla they use in their perfumes. It is soft and silky vanilla, not too sweet at all. You could bathe in vanilla like that. After a while, you notice the scent of a rose mixed with vanilla and sandalwood. Zenne is a beautiful and flirty perfume. Zenne is beautiful, lovely, elegant, graceful and a bit flirtatious.
Top notes : grapefruit, rhubarb and blackcurrant.
Heart of the perfume: Gardenia, Turkish rose and sandalwood.
Perfume base: amber, vanilla and musk.

Aromatic, pleasant mint with an admixture of very fresh rose and clove, which is very pleasant in this composition. Not at all aggressive, as it can sometimes be.

A little warmer in the drydown, thanks to the amber in the base.
What the role of hemp is in this story, I wouldn't know exactly, but I think it makes the composition not go in a sweet direction. or maybe it is it that is responsible for this stunning effect.

Although it is feminine, I feel it is purely unisex.
